GENERAL BACKGROUND:
ChildFund Afghanistan is a non-religious, non-governmental, not-for-profit and independent
development organization whose mission is to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children
have the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults, parents
and leaders who bring lasting and positive change to their communities. ChildFund Afghanistan
is a member of ChildFund International which carries out multi-sectorial programs in over 30
countries worldwide. ChildFund Afghanistan has been operating in Afghanistan for more than
12 years particularly in the Northeast provinces of Kunduz, Badakhshan and Nangarhar:
ChildFund Afghanistan is implementing the project of Equal Access to Education for Nomadic
population in North East Region of Afghanistan. The project work with mobile communities in
Kunduz and Badakhshan provinces, focusing on girls’ education enrollment and attainment; the
project main element include development and implementation of an adapted Community
Based Education model for nomadic primary school children especially girls with the support of
a team community teacher, shura and social mentors an adult literacy program.

An Offer will be made based on the Lowest Price, Technically
Acceptable Source Selection process. The award will be issued to
the responsible offered submitting the lowest evaluated price that
meets or exceeds the acceptability.
Vendor shall be aware of the general terms and conditions for an
offer resulting from this RFQ. The selected vendor shall comply
with all Representations and Certifications
The quote can be in English, Dari or Pashto, comprised of one
hard-copy indicating the RFP number, title, and closing date, The
quote must be delivered to the address mentioned above by not
later than June 23rd 2015 (4:00 PM)
The quote form which is attached with RFQ shall be placed in a
sealed envelope (signed and stamped) clearly marked “Quote for
RFQ-CFA-0011 of Hygiene kits for ChildFund Afghanistan, it will be
only opened in the presence of the ChildFund Afghanistan selected
