Artists call for propositions BIENNALE INTERNATIONALE DES ARTS DU PAPIER Edition 2015 & Fête du Livre d’Artiste et Papier Paper artists are invited to submit proposals for the 2015 special edition of the Biennale. The first venue will be in the UK - NEW BREWERY ARTS CENTRE In The heart of the Cotswolds CIRENCESTER GLOUCESTERSHIRE – 28 MARCH – 31 MAY 2015 THEME - Métamorphose-Memorie Profond – Transformation (Title to be finalised) Works in paper as the main medium, installations, sculptures, tableaux,( artists books for the exhibition & the Fete de Livre de artiste et Papier), performance including video and sound will all be considered , as well as research and paper works shops, demonstrations etc. Works that address issues of nature and the environment will be particularly welcomed. THE 2015 edition of the biennale will be a travelling exposition to 2 – 3 venues & countries UK - FRANCE - and possibly TAIWAN. CATALOGUE : One copy of the basic catalogue (not the limited edition) will be available free to each participant. After selection you will be asked to fill in the form from the NBA with details of your works as well as sending in your participation fee. 1/4 COMMISSION : New Brewery Arts will charge sales commission (at 40% plus VAT at 20%) on the artists’ gallery sale price. This means that the artist receives 52% of the sale price of any work sold .The Gallery/organisers take 48% of the sale price40%commission plus vat on the commission.These rates will apply for all of the Biennale 2015 venues. Cost of Postage ; Cost of postage to the first venue NBA will be at the expense of the artist. The return and cost to each venue will be the organisers (Chaine de papier’s) responsibility. If you are sending from outside of the EU please mark your parcel « NO Value » or » Less than 100€ » if this is not marked your works may incurr import tax which will mean your parcel will be returned to you. PACKAGING: The packaging is the responsibility of the artist. For the return of your works the original packaging will be used therefore it must be possible to open without damage. ASSURANCE : Insurance of your works when in transit will be the responsibility of the artist. Your works will be insured during each exhibition . Artists are strongly advised to obtain their own separate insurance as these insurances usually cover only the cost of the materials and the value must also be proved. To participate you must complete the formulaire signed and dated. If any information is missing we shall have the right to refuse your entry.
