All animals must be in place by 9am. Cattle may begin arriving by 8 a.m. Friday. No Straw Allowed. Wood Chips or
Sawdust Only.
Due to limited space, no exhibitor will be allowed to reserve stalls. Stalls are strictly on a first come, first-serve basis. A stall is
not considered yours until your cattle are in it.
Heifers show Saturday, April 4th at 12pm and
market animals will show Saturday, April 4th at 12pm. Steers and heifers show by breed. Market heifers
Show is open to all junior exhibitors 21 years of age and under.
will only be shown by weight. Breeds with 5 or more entries, from 2 or more exhibitors will have a breed division. Missouri
division placing’s are taken from Open Division class results; however Missouri breed champions and overall champions will
have individual championship-drive classes following the appropriate Open Division class.
Market Animals: Must have been born in 2014. To be eligible for a breed class, steers will need to meet the same percentage
requirements as set forth by the breed association, and they must show a predominance of such breed characteristics. All
others will show in the crossbred class. Market heifers will only be show by weight. Only one exhibitor may show market
animals in only one breed division. Steers will show by weight. No re-weights will take place.
Heifers: Must have been born between 9-1-13 and 7-1-14. All purebred heifers must have registration papers in hand at check
in. Heifers will show by age. Heifers without registration papers will show as crossbred. Heifers can only be shown once in
either the market of breeding division. Only one exhibitor may show heifers in only one breed division.
All animals must be owned and shown by the exhibitor. Animals from outside Missouri must have health papers that apply with
state regulations.
No hemp, hair or hair-like materials or surgical alterations will be allowed. Any and all animals may be subject to veterinary
examination. Portable generators are welcome and encouraged. Show management reserves the right to interpret the rules or
make any decision regarding the show deemed necessary in the best interest of the event. All cattle will be released upon the
completion of their respective show.
