Level 1 Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Workshop Perth Zoo Conference Centre 20 Labouchere Road, South Perth, WA 6951 Sunday, 3rd May 2015 Proudly Presented by: Sponsored by: Introduction This oncoplastic breast surgery workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to increase their knowledge and surgical skills in oncoplastic breast surgery. The interactive workshop will focus on breast conservation therapy and level one oncoplastic procedures, with an emphasis on techniques that can be used in routine practice, as well as providing an introduction to breast reconstruction. Video sessions, case discussions and demonstration of marking up on live models in smaller groups, will ensure this one-day course will be highly relevant to all breast surgeons. In addition, the workshop will provide a good foundation for participation in the level two oncoplastic workshop planned for Brisbane in September 2015. The comprehensive one-day programme includes: • Patient selection • Incision placement • Glandular remodelling • Approaches for dealing with difficult tumour locations including central and inferior tumours • Therapeutic mammoplasty • Dealing with complications • Overview of breast reconstruction The workshop faculty will include Australian and New Zealand breast surgeons with oncoplastic expertise.
