Hair testing provides up to a 90-day detection window for repetitive drug use
patterns, helping to ensure a long-term

tests screen for a wide variety of drugs, including expanded opiates, creating a
broad and robust drug testing menu.
Hair testing collections are observed, reducing the
likelihood of tampering or adulteration. Using an
FDA-cleared testing system, hair testing yields excellent detection of repetitive drug use, making it a
valuable resource for an employer’s pre-employment
and random drug testing program.
Negative hair test results are typically reported within 24 hours of specimen receipt at the laboratory and positive results are confirmed using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (GC/MS/MS) and are usually returned within 48 to 72 hours.
