2014 Columbia County Fair & Rodeo Static Venue
There are no entry fees for Static entries.
TEXTILES






Entries will be accepted only on Sunday, July 13th from 11am to 3pm and on Monday, July
14th, from 12noon to 8pm.
Entries will be released after 5:30pm on Sunday July 20th, 2014
Entries not picked up by July 24th will be disposed of.
Entries are limited to residents of Columbia County.
Age Categories for open class exhibits are as follows:
- Adult:
18 yrs and over
- Teen:
13 yrs —17 yrs
- Youth:
6 yrs —12 yrs
- Preschool:
Under 6 yrs
- Professional: One who sells Baked Goods. No “For Sale” signs or Business Cards.







Entries must be clean and appropriately finished, i.e. pressed, blocked, starched, etc...
Entries must be the work of the exhibitor. Previous prize winning items or items more than 3 years
old are not eligible for competition.
Entries that require hanging must be mounted and ready, except for quilts. Exhibits of more than 1
piece must be securely fastened together.
Entries will be judged on general appearance, suitability of technique and material and neatness of
work.

Due to the overwhelming response in this community to quilting, we will be enforcing the one entry per
category rule to make judging time manageable. If you would like to bring quilts for display only,
they should be marked as such and will be displayed on a space available status.
If the quilt is not completely made by the exhibitor, it must be entered as group made or commercial input.

 2. Lap size – 264” to 210” perimeter
 3. Baby size – 209” to 144” perimeter
