Brake Lock III
Installation Instructions
1. Pull back the carpet on the driver side of
the vehicle. Locate an area on the firewall
behind the brake pedal and mount the
mounting plate to the firewall with the
supplied #10 screws.
Using a 1/4” drill bit, drill a hole centered
in the threaded opening of the mounting
plate thru the firewall.
2. Wrap the cable around the pedal arm
and loop it back thru it itself as shown.
Install the Brake Lock assembly into the
mounting plate and feed the cable into the
assembly thru the firewall. Reinstall the
carpet around the Brake Lock assembly.
3.Feed the cable thru the engine compartment
in the most direct route with the least amount
of obstructions and out the front fascia.
4. Using the supplied zip ties, secure the
fuse to the fascia so that it is not hanging
down.
Avoid any moving parts or parts that
could be damaged when the cable tightens
during a breakaway situation.
Feed the cable thru the fuse leaving
approximately 3” of slack. Secure the cable
to the fuse with the two (2) cable clamps and
trim the excess wire.

Install one end of the coiled cable to the
fuse carabiner. Then attach the other end
to a secure location on the back of the
coach with the other supplied carabiner.
