The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival Strawberry Recipe Contest Saturday April 18, 2015 1:00 pm The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival Rules: 1) All entries must use fresh strawberries as their main ingredient. 2) Entries can be any kind of strawberry based food item cake-shortcake-pie-cookies-salads-beverage, etc. All entries will be judged against each other in the same category and the winner will be based on: Originality Presentation Taste & Texture 3) Contestants must submit recipes with entry form. 4) Contestants must prepare entry exactly as stated on recipe directions 6) Entries must be prepared at home & submitted between 11am-12noon on April 18, 2015 at the recipe judging table under the main tent located in the Family Attractions area of the festival. 7) Entrants need to be submitted in its complete form in a covered dish. Refrigeration is not available on site. Boone Hall is not responsible for any serving dishes or utensils not returned. 8) All decisions by the judges are final. 9) Entrance to the festival is complimentary for recipe contestant only. All other accompanying parties will need to purchase admission tickets.
