Crochet amigurumi Hacky Sacks of FUN! Materials The exciting thing about amigurumi is that they are great stash busters. Use any type of left over yarn but remember to use a size smaller crochet hook than usually recommended. The Hacky Sacks pictured were made with a variety of DK yarns and a size 3mm or Size D crochet hook. Allow 50 to 100 yards/109 metres of Dk or 8ply yarn.
