He is an international researcher and speaker about the power of creativity and the arts. If you haven’t watched any of his Ted Talks on YouTube, I highly recommend you do. His latest book is about “Creative Schools,” and I’m very proud to say that Boston Arts Academy is among the schools featured. He writes in this new book that “[t]he Boston Arts Academy model substantiates what I’ve seen in all my work with schools around the world: building the curriculum around students’ interests leads to them performing at higher levels in all areas.” He says about BAA that we are a place that believes in “appreciating the individuality of the student body, seeking potential at every turn, and constantly striving to move the school forward in the face of constant change.” I hope you are as honored and excited to be recognized by Sir Ken Robinson as I am. And I hope you have a great week! Announcements for Families: • Family Conference Day is Thursday, April 16 and will be held at BAA.
