Architects Office Program

Architects Office is a volunteer aleatoric electronics & brass music-making
performance project active in Boulder since 1983. This program features
screenings of several collaborations between the collective and filmmakers Stan Brakhage, Paul Lundahl, Joel Haertling and others. A work in
progress, I…Chris by Anthony Buchanan is also screened. A CD of music
and a 14th issue of the Zamizdat Trade Journal about self-publishing are
released on this occasion.

The pairing of these two stellar local artists was first arranged in the 2005
Canyon Gallery exhibition Waking Dreams. A decade later they are returning to the library to show new work together. Local favorites, both Frank
and Caroline have devoted followers of their richly imaginative artistic narratives. A reception is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.

Directed by Craig Baldwin (1999). This documentary traces intellectual
property controversies across the contemporary arts scene. Playful and
ironic, Baldwin’s cut-and-paste collage essay surveys the prospects for an
“electronic folk culture” in the midst of an increasingly commodified corporate media landscape. (87 min.)

myth, biography, docu-fable, collage and fantasy, this film is an exploded
narrative which converges the many lives of Lucifer with the now-mythic story of filmmaker Kenneth Anger’s troubled film production Lucifer
