Spring Clean-up was a Huge Success!
There was a lot of hustle and bustle at Bowmar on Saturday March
21st, despite the rainy weather. The interior of our school got cleaned,
painted, rearranged and decorated. It looks great! Students were
surprised the following Monday to find the main bathrooms decked
out in a brand new nautical theme! Thanks to all the families,
teachers & staff that participated: Ferracci, Vroman, Townsend,
Thompson, Sherwin, Smith, Watts, Styles, Gatchell, Davis, Bradley,
Patel, Buxton, Kilroy, Broadfoot, Jackson, Spangler, Surti, Green,
Boland, Figarola, Britton, Hern, Tankersley, Flagg, Callon, Jennings
and the others that missed our sign-in sheet!

PTO Newsletter
 The 2nd issue of our student run newspaper, “The Paw Print” went home
March 25th, 2015. We hope you read it to find out what’s going on in our
school. Great job, student writers, photographers, designers & editors!
 Leadership days are Thursday April 2nd for parents & Thursday April 9th for
the community. We are eager to showcase how Leader in Me is having a
positive impact on our school!

Points of Pride Congratulations to Marisol Byrd for not only winning Bowmar’s Parent of the Year but also being named Vicksburg Warren School District’s Parent of the Year! Marisol takes those beautiful photos on our leadership wall, is our yearbook chairperson & coordinates our Scholastic Book Fairs. She is a PTO member and also gets involved in many other ways!
