We hope that interested students will accept this challenge by giving up television (and other electronic devices with screens, unless it is school-related) for seven consecutive days and engaging themselves in more productive, creative and educational ways to spend their time. We cannot think of a better time to do this than in conjunction with National Screen-Free Week 2015 from May 4th thru 10th. Students who successfully complete the “challenge” will receive a personalized certificate. The Screen-Free Week Challenge Form is on page 4 of this newsletter. Please return the completed forms to Senator Bates’ office by Friday, May 29th. The address is listed at the bottom of the form. PTA NEWS Bushy Blooms is in full swing!
