Il futuro è STEAM anche (e soprattutto!) per le donne.
Sono i campi tecnico-scientifici
scientifici quelli che offrono migliori opportunità di carriera e
maggiori garanzie di parità salariale.
Dagli Stati Uniti all'Europa i dati
da parlano chiaro: il futuro formativo e professionale delle società
globalizzate, sempre più competitive e tecnologiche, si giocherà nei settori STEAM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics).
Mathematic Sempre i dati ci dicono anche, però, che il numero di
donne che si avvia a questo tipo di formazione e di competenze continua ad
essere sorprendentemente basso. Con importanti ripercussioni economiche, non ultime quelle
derivanti dai ritardi accumulati nella chiusura del gap salariale.
Come fare, quali strumenti ci sono per
pe stimolare le donne ad intraprendere una carriera nell'ambito
delle professioni STEAM?
Di questo si parlerà durante la tavola rotonda promossa da BPW (Business Professional

The future is STEAM also (and notably!) for women.
Tecno-scientific fields are offering the best career opportunities and the least gender
pay gap.
From the United States to Europe, statistics leave no doubts: the future of educational as well as
professional challengesin global societies, more and more competitive and technological, will be
played in the fields of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). But
numbers also keep telling the story of a surprisingly low percentage of women choosing this kind of
career, with enormous economic consequences,not least the delay in filling the gender pay gap.
What measures and what kind of instruments areto encourage women in the direction of STEAM
professions?
The topic will be at the center of the roundtable promoted by BPW (Business Professional
Women) Club Ticino in partnership with SVIN (Swiss Association of Women Engineer) and CFA
Society Italy.
