PARK SHIRLINGTON SWIMMING POOL REGULATIONS
The Park Shirlington Pool will open May 23, 2015.
HOURS:
The hours of operation are as follows:
Monday: Pool Closed
Tuesday - Sunday: 11:00 AM TO 8:00 PM
(4:00PM to 8:00PM) until Arlington County schools close.
PASSES:
Resident passes received last year are valid for the 2015 Pool Season. If you did not receive a pool pass last
year or you are a new tenant; Adult tenants must fill out a pool application and may pick up their passes at
the Rental Office Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm.
NO PASSES WILL BE ISSUED ON SATURDAY, OR HOLIDAYS.
Passes must be presented at the gate, regardless of the nature of the visit. All passes must be shown to the
attendant at the gate when registering name and pass number.
There will be a $10.00 fee for replacement of swimming cards unless a portion of the original card is
presented at the office. This fee will not be refunded if the card is presented at a later date. Cards must be
returned when vacating.
GUESTS:
House guests will be permitted to use the pool.
Admission charge is $2.00 per person, regardless of age.
Admission tickets may be obtained by the Lease Holder only at the Rental Office, between the hours 9:00am
and 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
Guest tickets are not refundable under any circumstances, but may be used on other days during the season.
Tenant's passes are not transferable for use by guests regardless of the length of the visit.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
No person shall use the pool unless it is officially open and the guard is on duty. Instructions of the Lifeguards and
the Managers must be obeyed for your safety.
ALL accidents, no matter how minor, must be reported to the Pool Manager or Asst. Pool Manager on duty and the
Rental Office. When reporting an accident make sure that you give the guard your full name and address and explain
how the accident happened. First aid assistance may be obtained from the Guard.





All bathers must soap shower before entering the pool due to health regulations.
No one under the influence of alcohol will be permitted to enter the pool area.
No one with alcoholic beverages or food will be permitted to enter the pool area.
No glassware of any type is permitted in the pool area.
Children under 10 years of age will not be admitted unless accompanied by a person16 years or older.
PARKING:
PARKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Due to fire regulations, the driveway leading to the pool area must
be kept free of cars at all times.
POOL TELEPHONE:
Any information pertaining to the pool may be acquired by calling the pool phone number
(703)-998-9329). Do not call the Rental Office unless it is an emergency.
Guards will not be permitted to accept or convey telephone messages.
GUARDS:
The Lifeguards on duty are there for your protection and safety. Safety regulations will be strictly enforced, and any
infraction of the rules may result in having your swimming privileges revoked.
THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVOKE OR SUSPEND SWIMMING PRIVILEGES

It’s that time of year again. As many of you know the pool at our sister property, Park
Shirlington is about to open on Memorial Day Weekend. All residents of Braddock Lee have
access to use their pool throughout the summer.
Please fill in the following information completely. All adults are required to sign. Only LEASE
HOLDERS will be able to pick up the pool passes. Lost or replacement pool passes will require
a fee of $10 per pass.
