IB Learner Attitude of the Week
Enthusiasm: enjoying learning (something we see at Bradley everyday)!!!
From Mr. Wera…Wow Bradley Families! We have a lot of news to share with you today!
1st – Thanks to Mrs. Melissa Capozza, IB Coordinator, to all the teachers, AND TO YOU and YOUR CHILD for making our
1st school-wide student led-conference night a huge success!!! That was amazing and the students really did a fantastic
job!
2nd –I want to wish everyone who is attending the Shakespeare Festival today good luck! Have fun and “Break a Leg”!!!!
3rd – We have two young Authors who will be representing Bradley at the District Young Authors Day today – I want to
throw a Shout out to Estelle M. (3rd grade) and Phoebe M. (5th grade)!
4th – I will be sending home a flyer for a computer destruction class today. If you have ever wanted to take apart a
computer, join me, on Wednesday May 6th as we learn about computers and hard drives from the inside!
5th – Good luck to our 5th grade Destination Imagination’s Awesome Weird Bradley Persons team ---- representing
Bradley at the State Tournament Saturday morning!
Finally, make sure to sign up by next Friday, May 1st, for Bradley’s Summer Camp! Remember, we have: Computer
Camp, Science Camp, Sports Camp, Dr. Seuss Camp, Games campo, Space Camp, Art Camp, Harry Potter Camp
AND…..what am I forgetting…. Oh yes… LEGO CAMP!!!!! A deposit of $50 is due on May 1st, and 100% is applied to the

Tuesday, April 28th “Bradley Dines Out” at Chipotle 4:00pm—8:00pm
 Enjoy eat in or take out at our local University Hills Chipotle (Colorado Blvd. and Yale) and 50%--yes 50%!! of our
allocated sales comes back to Bradley! Be sure to mention that you are with Bradley!
From Ms. Kenny…The Art classroom 117 will be open for students in grades 3rd-5th for after-school art club on May 6th,
13th, and 20th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. We will be making large masks for a University Hills Library display that will be
hanging all summer. The club is open to the first 16 students who sign up. Please feel free to contact

From Miss Archibald…My classroom is participating in a recycling program called Crayola ColorCycle! Please bring in
old markers, highlighters, dry erase markers, and permanent markers! It doesn’t have to be Crayola, it can be any
brand! Look for recycle boxes in classrooms and around the school!
