Six days of silence in the rugged mountains high above Salt Lake City, Utah. Eight
hours of meditation per day. No electricity. No phones. Nothing but your tent, food and

About Chris:
About Chris:
Chris has been meditating since 1997, became a Buddhist
in 2001 and was ordained a Zen monk nine years later.
Currently, he identifies primarily as a nondualist meditation
teacher and therapist, and has a private psychotherapy practice
on Vine Street in Murray. He has graduate degrees from the
University of Chicago (MA, 2007), where he studied religion
and wrote his thesis on esoteric initiation rituals in fringe
religions, and the University of Utah (MSW, 2008). He has
worked for years as a therapist in community mental health,
in state hospitals, and for the federal government as a military
combat trauma therapist.
