A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) Think about the day when God gave His Law to Moses and the children of Israel from Mt. Sinai! When compared to all of the other events in which God had previously interacted with humanity, surely that day ranks among the most eventful! The entire nation of Israel stood before God and heard the sound of His voice! It had been almost four hundred years since their forefathers had spoken to God face to face. Prior to that day when God spoke from Mt. Sinai, God had only interacted with various key individuals from antiquity such as Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph! Surely, we perceive that the events of that single day have long-lasting spiritual results; the Law and the book which was given on that day literally birthed not only the Jewish faith, it also set the foundation of Christian beliefs, and even certain aspects of Islam! We cannot help but wonder how many Christians really understand the profound power that was released on that one specific day! Most of us are barely aware of that day’s name; it happens to be the first Pentecost which is expressly identified within the Scripture. That day was markedly different from any other previous day in the entire history of Israel & mankind! However, on the day of the giving of the Law from Mt Sinai, the actual Creator God of the Universe decided to portray His presence to an entire family! In fact, on that Pentecost day He not only met with a single man; he met with and spoke to the whole nation of Israel! As a result, from then on He would call that nation, “My People!” Beyond the Ten Commandments, He also gave His People a book which revealed great detail concerning how they were supposed to live before Him as they would grow to better know Him! As we just read, on this eventful day God presented only His voice to an entire nation of people! Notice how one passage conveys the interaction, “And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.” (Ex 19:16). Let us try to realize just how much the people of Israel were affected by just the sound of God’s voice! In fact they became so fearful of His voice that they ran from the sound! Notice their words just three verses later, “And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” (Ex 20:19). Understand; man’s first reaction to the voice of God was marked by fear! A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) We should recognize some very interesting descriptors which were used with respect to that day when the Creator God of the Universe spoke in an audible voice unto Israel. Notice the passage, “And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed (ran away!), and stood afar off” (Ex 20:18). That passage uses two especially significant Hebrew descriptors! One word is (qowl) which is translated as “thunderings;” and, we also see the Hebrew word (lappiyd) which is translated as “lightnings;” both translations are KJV. Notice the boxed area (above right) showing how Young’s Literal Translation renders that passage, “All the people saw the voices and the flames!” God’s word is clearly recorded and the Scripture plainly states that the people “saw the thunderings, and the lightnings.” When we take the passage literally it creates a problem, because human eyes see only physical elements; they do not see unseen effects such as the sounds of a voice; however, this day was clearly different! The reason is that God’s voice spoke! Perhaps, the scripture is as clear as it can be. What if when a glorified God speaks His voice can create visible images? According to Scripture, the people literally “saw the thunderings” or as Young’s translation renders it, they “saw voices and flames!” Could it be that this experience is what caused them to flee! Perhaps they actually saw God’s voice! Certainly, we are all comfortable in the fact that even the greatest lightning storm ever recorded, never communicated that a whole nation fled in fear! Nevertheless, something awesome and unspeakable did take place on that day! So, what was it? What specifically could have taken place on that awesome day? Perhaps the prophet Jeremiah’s words indicate most completely what happened! Notice Jeremiah’s description from God’s perspective, “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you!” (Jer 3:14) God not only spoke, He took this nation Israel and married them on that first day of Pentecost; nevertheless, His presence, His voice, His closeness and His being terrified them! As a result of the marriage, He gave them gifts such as: His thoughts; His personal calendar; His Laws, His promises, and even His resources. We should not simply dismiss the fact that this all took place on the day known as Pentecost; in fact, perhaps that specific holy day should actually hint to us of future things to come! If God has already twice performed such great works on that single holy day, perhaps He will act again on that same day in the future! We will look into this idea and various other possibilities during this study. Let us consider some of the events and images which associate the church with the day of Pentecost. Obviously, Israel experienced “thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.” (Ex 19:16). A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) The early church saw evidence of thunder (voices) and lightnings (flames), those voices and flames clearly reflect the images of the fire and smoke as recorded at Mount Sinai. Some, including myself have wondered if perhaps the flames and voices somehow floated above the people at the foot of Sinai. If so, this might somehow prequel similar events which clearly took place nearly fifteen hundred years later during another Pentecost recorded in the New Testament, “… the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4) It is troublesome to realize that most Christians are as ignorant of things regarding the Children of Israel as the Children of Israel are ignorant regarding the things of the church! At least Israel has an excuse, they have been blinded, “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel” (Rom 11:25). Perhaps because of the stark clash/contrast between Grace –vs– Law, God has allowed for the church to likewise remain ignorant to important aspects regarding Israel. Nevertheless, the church can be enlightened by looking closely into the day of Pentecost from a Jewish perspective; and vise-versa! Could it be that there is more to Pentecost than first meets the eye? As Paul advises, let us choose not to “be wise in our own conceits,” especially with respect to Israel; therefore, let us begin to recognize some important aspects concerning Pentecost. The prefix “pente” means fifty; and the root “cost” means count. So “counting fifty” is the literal meaning of the day of Pentecost. Also, just as God caused, “it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights,” in the days of Noah, let us not ignore the fact that Moses (the Mediator of the covenant) spent forty days and forty nights on the mount, “And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in Written by Michael Larry Perrino 2014 by Rivkah Ministries 3 4/13/2015 These Bible Studies are presented free of charge to the public. Both of these 40 day events have a close relationship with the 17th day of the first month. This indicates to us that forty is an important number when it comes to Pentecost; certainly, forty is somehow, or in some way closely associated with counting fifty. We will keep both numbers in mind as we continue. Let us also consider another interesting aspect concerning the Jews. To this very day, observant Jews engage in a very interesting and significant custom on the day of Pentecost. They stay up that night on the eve of the day known as Shavot, (Pentecost); during that preceding night and on the next day they engage in meticulous readings from the Bible. They read the book of Ezekiel during the evening and night and the book of Ruth during the next day! Let us try to realize what was going on amongst the apostles and early disciples prior to the day when the Church experienced its first Pentecost. Jesus had been with them 40 days and He instructed them to “not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father” (Acts 1:4). Even though they were followers of Jesus, keep in mind that they were also good Jews. The Scripture reports, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” (Acts 2:1) Therefore, since they were observant Jews they had been up the previous night, during which they would have specifically read the book of Ezekiel. Since Jesus kept the whole law, His disciples would likewise have continued to be observant especially relating to non-legalistic customs. Therefore, on the previous night, they would have read or heard about a whirlwind coming out of the north and a great cloud of fire which produced the color of amber in the midst of fire. Further, they would have observed how the “spirit took me (Ezekiel) up and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing!” (Ezek 3:12)! Notice some of those interesting Biblical images they would have contemplated that previous night, “And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire” (Ezek 4:1). Later from the same book they would have envisioned another of Ezekiel’s experience, “I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing. 14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away…” (Ezek 3:13-14) Ezekiel’s vision should once again remind us of Young’s translation of Ex 20:18, they “…saw the voices and the flames!” So, “when Pentecost was fully come,” voices and thunders were once again experienced; however, this time instead of the whole nation of Israel, Pentecost was experienced by Jesus’ disciples. We have already read where the books of Exodus and Jeremiah have described the first Pentecost at Sinai as a marriage ceremony. The people repeated with one accord, “we will do!” In essence, the Written by Michael Larry Perrino 2014 by Rivkah Ministries 4 4/13/2015 These Bible Studies are presented free of charge to the public. A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) book of the Law that was given to Israel was their marriage ketubah (Jewish marriage contract). In time, Jesus’ disciples received the New Testament. We have also learned that the Children of Israel always read the book of Ruth during what they call Shavot (Pentecost)! We cannot ignore that Pentecost is a day of Marriage, “… and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.” (Ex 24:3). (HINT: What future day of marriage yet remains ahead?) From Ruth, Jesus’ disciples heard about Boaz the rich land owner who harvested his Barley and Wheat between Passover and Pentecost (the exact season in which they found themselves). We already learned that the very word for Pentecost means to count fifty days from the day of the waving of the sheaf which initiated the Barley harvest (They likewise had been counting fifty; Jesus was with them for forty days). They saw where Ruth and Naomi arrived in the land of Israel at the beginning of the Barley harvest. Perhaps Boaz and Ruth had married within the Fifty days; or even on Pentecost itself! How important is the Day of Pentecost or the 50th day after the 17th day of the first month? It turns out that the 17th day of the first month or, the day of the waving of the Barley sheaf, is also the beginning of the counting of the fifty days until Pentecost. As alluded to earlier, that 17th day of the first month also happens to be the day when the ark of Noah came to rest upon the Mountains of Ararat! “Coincidentally;” it also happens to be the day of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead! Here is another interesting concurrence; relating to the Fiftieth day after that 17th day of the first month. That Fiftieth day also happens to be the birth day of both Enoch and David. “Coincidentally,” in the Jewish oral tradition, Pentecost is also the day of David’s death and the day of Enoch’s departure! Beyond the fact that Pentecost is David’s birthday and also the day of his death, it still should not surprise us to be relating David to Pentecost and the book of Ruth since David was arguably the most famous (at least amongst the Jews) of the progeny from the union (Marriage) between Boaz and Ruth. The book of Isaiah details more information concerning another specific offspring of the Boaz/Ruth union; this specific offspring happens to be the Messiah, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7). We will get back to this important prophecy! For now, let us note that one of the titles of this Messiah is, “The mighty God!” Written by Michael Larry Perrino 2014 by Rivkah Ministries 5 4/13/2015 These Bible Studies are presented free of charge to the public. A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) Just a few chapters earlier we find more information concerning this Messiah. We learn that He will be born of a virgin, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’)" (Isaiah 7:14). We have come to the point where we need to pay close attention to the Jews; however, in order to get a proper picture of what they portray, we need to understand elements relating to the Hebrew Alef Bet and with respect to the Messiah and to birthing. Perhaps this study may bring to mind Jesus’ words to Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man 1) be born of water and 2) of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:3-5). (Hint “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” (1 Cor 15:50)) Let us begin by understanding Jesus’ words from a Jewish perspective. There is a Hebraic meaning behind the concept of water which first shows up in the second verse of Scripture, “And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Gen 1:2). The Jews look into their Hebraic Alef Bet through the letter mem which represents “water” and appears as “M”. This letter has two forms; one is closed and one is open. The closed form means “concealed” and the open form means “revealed.” The Rabinic meaning of mem is also water. From the boxed-in area (at right) you can see the first usage within the Bible of the Hebrew word “water.” Note the letter mem is used twice in the phrase “haMaaiym (literally translated as, “the waters”); notice the mems (see small interior box, at right) reading from right to left, the first usage of mem is the open form and the second usage of the letter mem is the closed form. Now you might remember that the closed version of mem stands for concealed and the open version of the mem stands for revealed. This should be considered in much the same sense that a child is concealed in the waters of the mother’s womb for 40 weeks (180 days or 9 months) and then revealed at birth (see right hand image of the birthing mem next page)! Since the Hebraic value for the letter mem happens to be 40, it is very likely that the 40 weeks of a human pregnancy is associated with an important aspect of mem. So, let us sum up things that we have learned up to this point: we see that the 13th letter, mem, of the Hebrew Alef Bet is (open and means “revealed”). This letter mem actually means “water” and its numeric value is 40, which, coincidentally, is a main factor of the Hebraic minimum volume of water required in a Mikvah in order to perform baptism. Further the closed form of the letter mem means “concealed” like a child in the mother’s womb and the open form of the letter is like a child which is “revealed” at birth. A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) Therefore, Pentecost is not just about marriage; it also relates to the birthing of the family of God! The first Pentecost for the church took place around 33 A.D., a little over 2,000 years ago (50 X 40)! Interestingly, during the last one hundred years we have witnessed the outpouring of the Spirit within Count Hebrew the church and English Hebrew Heb. Hebrew Hebrew Hebraic Char. Meaning Concealed and Revealed Massive, Water Mem So, what have we 13 M 40 M represent the two forms of Overpower the letter; like a child is learned? Transition concealed in the womb and < 600 Obviously, then revealed at birth. Chaos Pentecost is an important day not only to the Christians, but also to the Jews! The Creator God has made Himself know to both groups! Both of these interactions between God and man took place on the day of Pentecost! On the first interaction He gave His Law which remained concealed, and on the second interaction He revealed His Son, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). Jesus Christ is the epitome of Grace! The church recognizes Jesus Christ only because of God’s Grace! In essence, the Messiah has been revealed to the Christians; however, He remains concealed from the Jews! Why? What is it that the Christians possess and yet, the Jews lack? A straight forward answer comes from the hand of Paul out of the New Testament; it teaches in, Rom 11:6 “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace!” Even though the Jews have not received the Grace of God, this condition will not always continue; the Jews will not remain blinded forever! Later in that eleventh chapter of Romans we read, “25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until (This word indicates an end point!) the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:” (Rom 11:25)! Let us rejoice! All of Israel shall one day be saved! (This is the title, topic and main subject of next book.) What has grace done for us? Perhaps it seems simple for the non-Jew to see the Messiah; nevertheless, what Christians effortlessly see concerning the Messiah, remains unseen by the Jew! The non-Jew perceives the Messiah by grace, not intellect! The Jews experience blindness because they believe in the Law and trust in themselves; instead of believing in the Lord and trusting in His grace! Now we come to several seemingly simple images (see next page) which clearly identify the existence of the Messiah; these images are contained within the midst of the Jews’ own Hebraic alphabet; and yet, these images remain hidden to the Jews to this very day! A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) God is represented by the Hebrew letter Alef (a), the first letter and the Hebraic symbol for the number 1. We see (la) (El) in the names of God, as in El Shaddai, El Ellyon, and Elohim. Another way of expressing Alef is to spell it out, Alef (pla) (improper sofit explained later) or ([la). When we add the value of each letter, we arrive at 111, showing the three-part God is echad (one) in three! The letter Alef (a) represents God as in (mihla) Elohim and (ynda) Adoni. Since man is made in God’s image, the name (mda) Adam also starts with the image of Alef (a). (Door Transition) When swearing testimony in America, we demand, “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” To the Hebrews, they would say, “tell me the beginning the middle and the end.” The Hebrew word emet (tma) means truth! When including sofit forms of letters, there are 27 letters and the mem is at the center of the Alef Bet. Even the Hebrew Alef Bet delivers the truth of Jesus Christ to the Jews! We already know that the Hebrew letters also have a numeric value associated with the letter. From the New Testament we learn that Jesus is the Door, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.” (John 10:7). When we add the door, (the 4th Hebrew letter dalet (d) value of 4) to Jehovah (hwhy) = 26 we get the value of 30, as we see this in the word Yahuda (hdwhy) which means Judah! By the way, the value 30 refers to the letter lamed (l) which is at the center and reigns over and is the highest of all Hebrew letters and symbolizes the Great Teacher! All the Hebrew letters gather around the middle letter lamed (l) which is the highest of all Hebrew letters and means the Great King and Teacher! Lamed has a (m) on the left and (k or i) on the right. Together those letters spell Melek (iml or kml) (improper sofit explained later) which means King. This signifies that the Teacher King sits in the midst of the Hebrews! A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) Now, let us consider the Messiah in the light of the Hebrew’s Alef Bet, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7). We saw where Isaiah prophesied that He (Messiah) will be born of a virgin, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’)" (Isa 7:14). But how do these things relate to the Hebrews Alef Bet? I lamented earlier that most Christians are as ignorant of things regarding the Children of Israel as the Children of Israel are ignorant regarding the things of the church! However, Israel has the excuse of blindness; likewise, perhaps because of the stark clash/contrast between Grace & the Law, God has allowed the truth regarding many important things concerning the nation of Israel to remain concealed from the church! However, concealed aspects are beginning to be revealed. (Hint: Modern Ultrasound) Let us consider one more example regarding Israel’s condition, “blindness in part is happened to Israel” (Rom 11:25). Therefore, it should not surprise us to see that Jews experience obvious problems regarding Isaiah’s prophecy of the Messiah, “7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.” We might ask, “How does this passage possibly relate to Israel’s blindness?” This particular passage shows an inconsistency regarding the Hebrew Alef Bet; and it actually shows how Israel’s blindness has left them powerless to recognize their Messiah. First, let me explain just one small element of the Hebrew Alef Bet. There are 22 letters of the Hebrew Alef Bet as we see in the top line of the boxed-in area (above). However, there are actually 27 separate shapes of those 22 Hebraic letters as the bottom line (above). Five of the letters come in two different forms, thus making 27 different letter shapes. Look at the second line of the boxed-in area (above); we see those 27 letters. Of those letters the 14th and 15th of the second line are the same as the 13th letter “m”, of the first line. The second form of that letters is identified as sofit. The rule is that the sofit form of the letter shows up instead of the primary form when that letter is the last letter in a word. On page six we saw where the Hebrew phrase, (<ymh) meaning “the waters” ends with mem “<”. That phrase also has a mem in the middle “m.” In compliance with the sofit rule, since the mem also shows up as the last letter of the phrase (<ymh), the sofit form is used at the end (leftmost position) of the word. Why do we even care? The point is that the blindness of Israel to their Messiah has caused them to miss one of the most important Biblical signs pointing Him out. Notice the (boxed-in image next page) it comes from the passage of Isaiah 9:7, “7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.” In that (boxed-in image next page) the two forms of the word translated as: “of the increase.” The boxed-in art shows where the syntax of the phrase “Of the increase” (below left) is correct; however, the Dead Sea Scrolls, (which were found the same year that Israel became a nation), renders Written by Michael Larry Perrino 2014 by Rivkah Ministries 9 4/13/2015 These Bible Studies are presented free of charge to the public. A Second Look at Pentecost “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire…” (Acts 2:1-3) the phrase “Of the increase” as we see (on the right side, below). This indicates that anciently, the Jews understood pictorially in their Alef Bet that the Messiah would come out of a closed womb, as other passages indicate, “Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’)" (Isaiah 7:14). This anomaly of the sofit rule in the syntax as used in the Dead Sea Scrolls is the only place in the Tanak (Hebrew Bible) where the sofit rule is broken. This is significant! For years, the Jews have seen this passage and have known that the Hebraic sofit rule was violated; nevertheless this passage has not indicated anything to them. The passage obviously makes reference to the Messiah and therefore relates directly with the first prophecy ever given within the Bible, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Gen 3:15); therefore, since the Jews do not perceive what is going on, we must conclude that it is a result of their blindness! As we have already observed, we Christians can easily see images of the Messiah even by looking at an unfamiliar Hebraic alphabet! Nevertheless, the Jews cannot see nor perceive their Messiah! However, “as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob” (Rom 11:26)! The coming of the Deliverer happens to be the very next event that is scheduled on God’s Calendar! Most Christians believe that this event will take place on some future Feast of Trumpets; however, Trumpets is a day of judgment and of war and it is not a day of marriage! Perhaps given all that we have learned concerning the day of Pentecost from a Jewish perspective, our eyes have been enlightened concerning the next event on God’s calendar which is to take place. We have learned that Pentecost is: a day of marriage; a day of adding to the family of God; a day of revealing what was concealed; and, a day of birthing, with all of this information in mind, perhaps we may have missed an important event that has been concealed from our understanding. Notice what God made known to Enoch concerning the day when God would judge the earth, “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him” (Jude 1:14). Obviously, the Day of Marriage (Pentecost?) would have preceded the Lord’s Day of Judgment (Feast of Trumpets). Written by Michael Larry Perrino 2014 by Rivkah Ministries 10 4/13/2015
