what is your favorite adidas
gymnastics look or outfit?
taking a step out of the bright lights,
flashes, and glamorous poses of a
photoshoot, you will find a down to
earth and fun group of athletes,
staff members, artists, kids, and
parents. many months and hours of
work, design, and planning lead up to
the clicking sounds of the camera
capturing these wonderful moments.
mckayla:
my favorite look is the classic
hoodie and sweats. to me it
feels casual, laid back, and
comfortable which is exactly
what i love to wear. another
thing I love is how the
products say “gymnastics” on
them. it makes you feel cool
and stand out a little.
in between the flurry of events at
this latest photoshoot, adidas
gymnastics had the opportunity to sit
down with mckayla to ask her a few
questions about the adidas brand and
products. below are a couple of
questions and answers we wanted
to share with all our readers.

what do you like best about the
adidas gymnastics brand?
mckayla:
growing up, i remember athletes
wearing adidas, and so i associate
wearing adidas with being an
athlete. you’re ready to compete
and ready to train really hard for
what you believe in. i believe the
adidas gymnastics brand stands
for hard work, and I love that.

adidas gymnastics had the privilege of being the official apparel sponsor of the 2013 world artistic
gymnastics championships in antwerp, belgium. in addition to this exciting opportunity, two of
our sponsored athletes, mckayla maroney and jake dalton, were part of the competition and both
executed extremely strong performances. congratulations to mckayla and jake!
leading up to the world championships, adidas gymnastics began releasing the #allinallgym video
series. the series included four videos of adidas gymnasts danell leyva, jordyn wieber, jake
dalton, and mckayla maroney, and one global video to capture how the spirit of gymnastics transcends
geography and culture. the global video was on display at the adidas gymnastics booth in the antwerp
sports palace, where spectators got a sneak peak before the video was released online. the individual
athlete and global videos can still be seen online at adidasgymnastics.com or on our facebook page.
the week-long event captivated the global audience, with many fans from various countries and of all
ages visiting the adidas gymnastics booth to shop the wide assortment of tank and long sleeve leos,
mckayla maroney signature leos, t-shirts, and accessories.
the world championships was truly an exciting event that was only one of many opportunities that
adidas gymnastics will be a part of. thanks to our athletes, distributors, and partners for their
