GRANT SPECIALIST Bright by Three seeks a Grant Specialist to match the organization’s needs, strengths, and strategic direction with funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong history of translating program developments into compelling, persuasive fundable concepts and applications. The Grant Specialist reports to the Director of Development and will work closely with leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES ● Develop and write effective grant materials, proposals, case statements, conceptual plans, letters of inquiry, support and acknowledgement letters, progress reports, and other related communications. ● Ensure compliance with funder requirements and timely submission of materials internally and externally. ● Research, identify, and disseminate information about federal, state, local, and private funding opportunities. ● Manage Salesforce development database and reports to track grant applications, success rates, deadlines, implementation progress, and outcomes. ● Articulate measurable goals and objectives related to key performance indicators with leadership and stakeholders. ● Create develop budgets, monitor grant spending, and coordinate pre­and post­award activities. ● Work closely with leadership to determine best approach for solicitations. ● Prepare and process letters, correspondence, and presentation materials. QUALIFICATIONS ● Expertise in fundraising concepts, research, grant writing, budgeting, and appropriate solicitation techniques. ● Ability to work collaboratively across teams. ●

Ability to transform complex ideas into coherently written text. Ability to listen and develop information into grant proposals. Ability to work independently and manage time. Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accurate records Demonstrated persuasive written communication skills. Ability to use Salesforce database management system. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Bachelor’s degree, supplemented with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
