Salesforce Consultant We believe that effective use of CRM technology is critical for nonprofit organizations to achieve their missions. Our clients play key roles in their communities across the country and include Salesforce Foundation Force for Change grant recipients from each of the past three years. Our clients understand the value of taking ownership in their systems, and our process enables them to do so. Our Seattle-‐based team is collaborative, knowledgeable and passionate about the work we do. And we have fun. We’re looking for a consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work with our clients throughout the lifecycle of projects. You will have an opportunity to guide the growth of Bigger Boat Consulting and its clients. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role include: • Lead or facilitate sessions to gather and define client business requirements. • Analyze client business requirements and priorities. • Translate nonprofit client needs into efficient and effective Salesforce implementations. These implementations involve customizing Salesforce, migrating data, coaching client administrators, and providing technical documentation. • Implement client projects using a cycle based approach focused on continually delivering a working system. • Ensure our clients have a strong understanding of their system, the decisions behind the design, and how to administer it moving forward. This is key to facilitating our clients successfully taking ownership of their system. • Learn and master high levels of skill in Salesforce technologies and implementation best practices. • Help develop best practices and effective, consistent repeatable delivery process in a fast-‐paced environment. • The role requires travel up to 10% of the time. Qualifications In addition to at least two years of experience in a consulting or software development role, the ideal candidate will have: • Ability to work independently and with a project manager. • Strong business analysis skills. • Certified Salesforce Administrator, Developer or equivalent database/CRM experience required. • Nonprofit sector experience is ideal. • Strong verbal and written communication skills as applied in analysis, recommendations, e-‐mail communication, client meetings, and team interaction. • Experience working in a small company environment where flexibility is critical. • A sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an easygoing manner when working with others.
