You can take those hours in any combination of sessions noted above (subject to space). For example, a full day on a Monday (10 hours) and a full morning on a Tuesday (5 hours). Alternatively you can choose to have 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. You can choose from either AM 3 hour sessions or PM 3 hour sessions (or a mixture of the 2 over the week). The session times are noted below: Additional hours or sessions and food are charged at our standard rates. A separate charge is made for breakfast, lunch and tea Funded sessions do include morning and afternoon snacks and drinks Terms and Conditions Nursery Places and Bookings The nursery must receive a signed and fully completed registration document before a place can be confirmed. Sessions must fit into the times indicated on the registration form – for any special requests these should be directed to the Nursery Manager. Registration Fees and Deposits We do not charge a registration fee. If you wish to book a space for your child more than a month after the date of request, we require a £200 deposit before a space can be reserved. This will be fully refundable against your first invoice. This will not be refunded if spaces are consequently not taken up. Fees and Invoices • Fees must be paid in advance on a monthly basis • Fees must be paid in full on the last working day of the month . Funds should be in our account no later than 10am. We ask that payments are set up by standing to ensure credits are received promptly • Invoices will be sent to parents no later than 5 days before payments are due • Fees are calculated annually and divided by 12 equal monthly installments. • All sessions booked must be paid for, regardless of whether the child attends. No refunds will be given for sessions missed due to holidays or sickness • 4 weeks notice must be given to make any changes to agreed hours or to take a child out of nursery • Any late payments will be subject to a late payment fee of £5 • • Whilst we would seek to avoid exclusion of children due to payment issues, we reserve the right to exclude a child if no payment is received or frequent late payments occur. We would prefer parents approach us if there are any concerns about meeting a payment We will offer a 10% sibling discount where a second or subsequent children are registered with us. The discount is applied to the second and subsequent children only Early Years Entitlement and 2 Year Old Funding Funding is available for all 3 and 4 year olds from the term following their 3rd birthday. Funding is also available to eligible 2 year olds. Operating Hours Bright Stars Day Nursery is open from 7am till 7pm, Monday to Friday. If you are late collecting your child, a late collection fee of £5 for every 15 minutes may be imposed – this will be at the discretion of the nursery directors. Nursery Closure The nursery will close for all public bank holidays. The nursery will also close for 3 additional days around Christmas and New Year. Notice will be provided of these closure dates each year. Behaviour Management We may require parents to withdraw their child in the event that the Nursery Manager considers the child to be disruptive or displaying inappropriate behaviour. We will not tolerate nursery staff being spoken to in an abusive or threatening manner by parents, carers or children. Such behaviour may result in the termination of a nursery place. Insurance We have extensive employee, public and buildings insurance and can provide details of this upon request. Personal Property and Belongings We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to children’s property although every reasonable effort will be made to ensure property is neither lost or damaged. We neither accept responsibility for parent possessions or damage or theft to vehicles whilst on nursery premises. Practical ‘inexpensive’ clothing is strongly recommended as clothin may become wet or dirty as a result of messy play or outdoor activities. It is the parents responsibility to label clothing. Termination/Cancellation/Change We require 4 weeks notice in writing should you wish to terminate a nursery place for any reason. Parents remain liable for fees during the notice period whether or not the withdraw their child. We reserve the right to terminate a contract without notice if fees are not paid by the due date or a child or parent displays abusive or threatening behaviour – in all other instances we shall provide 4 weeks notice should we wish to terminate a place for any reason. If a parent postpones a start date we reserve the right to charge from the original start date on the registration form. If a parent wishes to change the number of sessions taken at the nursery, 4 weeks notice is required and the request must be made in writing. Liability We accept no responsibility for any loss suffered by parents arising directly or indirectly, as a result of the nursery being temporarily closed or the non-‐admittance of your child for any reason which includes but is not limited to sickness or holidays. We accept no responsibility for children whilst in their parent’s care i.e prior to arrival and after pick up. We will not be liable to parents and/or children for any economic loss of any kind, for damage to child’s or parents property, for any loss resulting from a claim made by any third party or for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind. Security Under no circumstances will a child be allowe to leave nursery with anyone unknown to nursery staff unless the parent has previously arranged this and provided us with name, address and telephone number of the person, along with an agreed password. Nursery staff will require identification upon arrival. Agreement These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parents and the nursery. Any other understandings, agreements, warranties, conditions, terms or representations, whether verbal or written, expressed or implied are excluded to the fullest extent, permitted by law. We reserve the right to update/amend these terms and conditions at any time. Two months notice will be given of any changes made.
