Melbourne Shopping Tour 18th, 19th , 20th , & 21st June 2015
Join us for a fun filled weekend of Shopping in Melbourne.
Thursday 18th June 2015
Depart Brisbane - Flight number and departure time to be confirmed. We are hoping to again leave at around 7am to arrive there at
9.30am. If wishing to depart Brisbane on a pm flight, please contact office for pricing. For check in at airport you will be required to show
identification such as drivers licence so your luggage can be booked in & you can receive your boarding pass for your flight to Melbourne. It
is suggested that you arrive at the airport 1 hour before departure time. After receiving your boarding pass, proceed to your designated
boarding gate.
In Melbourne, you will be met at the baggage collection area on the ground floor. We will then start our shopping tour. First stop will be the
DFO at Essendon. We will also visit Diana Ferrari Shoes, & Bridge Road, and lots more. Outlets & itinerary is still being confirmed and will
be sent prior to tour departure. Lunch is at your own expense on this day.
We will finish the day @ the Mercure Welcome Hotel, Little Bourke St. The rest of the night is free for you to do as you wish. You may want
to explore the many shopping areas around the Hotel, or see the many arcades and laneways that Melbourne has to offer.
‘Lygon Street’ restaurants are very close to the City, or perhaps you might like to venture further to the ‘Crown Casino’ or Melbournes’ City,
for the Night life – visit the Eureka 88 at 7 Riverside Quay Southbank. Open till 10pm daily for breathtaking views of Melbourne.
If arriving at any other time from Brisbane, transport to the Mercure Welcome Hotel will be at your own expense.

This is a free day for you. You may want to book into a Great Ocean Rd Day Trip, Tramcar Restaurant Tour of Melbourne, Yarra Valley
Winery Tour, Phillip Island Tour, River Gardens Melbourne Sightseeing Cruise on the Yarra River, to name a few
Or you may just want to Shop! Shop! Shop!
The choice is yours – Remember we have a full day of Shopping ahead the next day!
Saturday 20th June 2015
This is the day to experience a Melbourne Shopping Tour with one of the local shopping tour companies. We must meet in the foyer of the
hotel by 7.30am for a 7.45am departure. On this day we will once again be visiting a great selection of outlets. A two course lunch will be
included on this day. The evening will be free for you to do as you wish. The Itinerary will be forwarded once finalized.
Sunday 21st June 2015
This is a free day for you. For more shopping you can visit the Victoria Markets or St Kilda Craft Markets, the City shops will also be open. If
you have had enough shopping, you can hop onto a free red tram and see some more sights of Melbourne.
Departure times from the Hotel are to be confirmed as well as flight times. Again we are looking at the 3.00pm flight home, getting back
to Brisbane around 5.30pm. Remember Melbourne weather is very unpredictable so bring a umbrella along with your warm winter clothes
is advisable; more importantly, remember comfort should come first. A named striped bag for your shopping on the Friday and Saturday
would make it a lot easier for you to keep everything together. Trams run very frequently, so you would be able to catch a tram to the Victoria
Markets or St Kilda markets.
Be aware that the normal baggage allowance is 23 kilo’s, and if you exceed this, you
may incur added charges.
If you wish to travel outside the planned travel times, prices may vary.

PLEASE NOTE: Where every effort is made for groups of friends to be allocated rooms close to each other, it cannot be
guaranteed due to late check outs of the rooms available at that time.
 It is also advisable to take out travel insurance for your week end.
Fares are non-refundable and dates not changeable.
The cost of the weekend includes:
Return Airfare, Accommodation (3 nights standard room), transportation from the airport to the Hotel if travelling with group. Friday and
Saturday's Shopping Tour including lunch on the Saturday, and return trip to the Airport on the Sunday. Please find enclosed the
Registration Form stating payment details.
 Please discuss variations in the travelling times, and length of hotel accommodation stay with the Office. Accomodation is priced
for a standard twin share room. Room upgrades, single suppliments, and triple share accommodation, available at additional cost.
If you are arriving or leaving Melbourne at different times to the group times, transport to and from the airport is at your own cost.

Deposit of $400.00 is due by 30th March 2015
Final payment is required by 4th May 2015
