June 20-21, 2015 Willoughby Community Park 2nd Annual Langley United Kicking Cancer 24 HOUR SOCCER MATCH In support of pediatric cancer research at the BC Cancer Foundation Participate • donate • camp over • support • help Langley United Soccer Association will play host to the second annual Langley United Kicking Cancer fundraising event on June 20 and 21, 2015. The event will last 24 hours and will take place at Willoughby Community Park. Funds raised from this event will be directed to the BC Cancer Foundation to support leading-edge research aimed at finding a cure for pediatric cancers. This all-ages, 24-hour soccer event will see players as young as four participate. It is open to players, coaches, parents or any other persons wishing to participate to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. Players can sign up as individuals, create a team or join an existing team. The games will be set up to suit the requirements and skill level and would range from 3v3 to 11v11, your choice. A $20 donation to the BC Cancer Foundation is suggested for participants. The event will kick off at 12 noon Saturday, June 20 with one-hour time slots running through the afternoon, evening and overnight before finishing at noon on Sunday, June 21. The youngest age groups will be scheduled to participate during daylight hours and the older groups will take part in the evening, overnight and in the morning before the event finale at noon. Families are invited to camp over and make it a fun family outing in support of a very worthy cause. Langley United Kicking Cancer raised just short of $20,000 last year and our goal this year is $25,000. Help us make it happen. Questions? Would you like to help out?
