Wouldn’t we all like to sleep like a baby? A good night’s sleep is important to everyone and as we age it seems it becomes more evasive. A good mattress is an important part of the equation. In a complex care home like Langley Lodge, residents spend a significant amount of time either sleeping orr laying on their beds. In some cases, this is because a person may struggle with basic movements and have limited capacity to stand or even be seated. The mattresses used by our Langley Lodge residents have a recommended life cycle of seven years. They have exceeded their service period and regrettably now offer limited support. Due ue to generous donations of our supporters we were able to replace a number of our mattresses in 2014. Our target for 2015 is to replace a further 70 mattresses. mattresses The estimated cost per mattress is $500. Our goal is to raise $35,000 for this project. We need your help in i reaching our goal. Your gift will make a difference for someone every single day.
