Getting Started Couldn’t Be Easier
We offer the most advanced educational
materials, equipment and facilities to cultivate
an engaging learning experience. Your
education is supported through the use of videos,
demonstrations, guest artists, visual/practical
presentations, lectures and hands-on experience.
We monitor your education through practical
and written examinations, making sure that
you are well versed and prepared for State and
County Board Examinations.
We have CAREFULLY and PURPOSEFULLY
selected the Instructional combination of
Milday and TIGI education to prepare
our students.
Milady uses the standard terminology
directly applicable to State and County
Board Examinations.

School Director & Sr. Instructor
Lisa Brown is an accomplished Cosmetology
and Barber Instructor, 28 Year Cosmetologist,
Matrix Color Master and TIGI Ambassador.
Formally trained in Basic and Advanced
Cosmetology from the world-renowned Gene
Juarez Academy, Seattle WA, Lisa has focused
on Cosmetology Education Advancement,
resulting in numerous, prestigious industry
and business awards.
TIGI education focuses on four key areas Colour. Styling. Cutting. Business.
STEP 3
Lisa has worked in top Salons in Seattle, Chicago
and New York and as a Platform Artist and Artistic
Educator, Lisa has influenced Global haircutting
designs and trends.
Having earned a Business Degree from Purdue
University, she also maintains a firm understanding
of business and marketing.

Licensing Requirements
State of Alabama
- Cosmetologist: 1500 hours;
- Barber/Stylist: 1000 hours;
- Instructor Training: 650 hours;
Jefferson County
- Barber/Stylist: 1500 hours
