Brownhills Community Association
are please to announce that they have
achieved the ‘Visible Standards’ which is a
nationally accredited quality standards for
community organisations.
These are a set of seven core principles
that we believe will underpin a strong and
sustainable community.
Achieving this prestigious standard will help
the Community Association in many ways:
It increases our chances of applying
for and receiving funding which previously has been difficult to
obtain.
It provides substantial evidence of the quality of our
organisation’s work. This shows that our services as a whole is
operating at an extremely high level as an organisation.
It creates greater cohesion amongst staff and trustees.
Improves trust and the working relationship.
It will give our management committees early warning signs of
potential problems. This will give us confidence to do things
that we had been thinking of doing … VISIBLE will act as a
backbone.
It will enable the organisation to introduce new services to the
community.
It will provide a clear structure for the improvement of our
organisation and will give confidence to funders, stakeholders,
members and users of the Community Association.
