The Fourth Sunday of Lent
Dear BRPC Family,
Chapter 25 of The Story
I love a good suspense movie and a favorite of
mine begins with a wounded man floating in
the Mediterranean. He’s fished out of the
water by some French fishermen only to discover when he comes to that he doesn’t know who
he is. In “The Bourne Identity,” Jason Bourne
will go through the entire movie searching to
find out just who he is.
The gospels bring a bit of that same suspense.
Throughout each of them, a key question is
just who is this Jesus? It’s a question for the
disciples, for the crowds who followed Jesus,
and it’s a question for us. A lot rides on the
answer we come up with. What does Christ’s
identity means for our faith — and for each of
us as we find our way through life? Join us!
Peace and grace,
Pastor Pat
