You will need any yarn you like, matching knitting needles, a tapestry needle and fiberfill.
How to knit the body parts
We will knit all the body parts first, than we will sew them together.
Tail:
Cast on 8 stitches.
Knit 40 rows – stockinette stitch.
Cast off. Leave a long tail for sewing later.
Head:
Cast on 16 stitches.
Knit 40 rows – stockinette stitch.
Cast off. Leave a long tail for sewing later.
Body:
Cast on 32 stitches.
Knit 40 rows – stockinette stitch.
Cast off. Leave a long tail for sewing later.
Sewing the tail
Use your tapestry needle for sewing.
Fold the square to halve the width.
Ribbing side up.
Sew the short side.
Turn your work inside out. Knitting side up.
Sew the tail across the length. Fill the tail inbetween.
Sew the short side at the end of the tail.
Make a knot. Leave a long tail (strand) for sewing later.
Sewing the head
Fold the square to halve the length. Knitting side up.
Sew the ear by stitching a triangle corner, do not fill.
Than sew the head across the square borders and fill inbetween until you reach the 2nd ear.
Sew the 2nd ear, do not fill.
Make a knot and sew the end.
Stitch the face with a new colour, e.g. black.
Sewing the body
Sew the body as shown on the picture, knitting side up. Fill inbetween
Make a knot, sew the ends.
Sewing all together
Sew the head onto the body, use a new strand.
Sew the tail on the back side of the body.
Make knots and sew the ends.
