Happy New Year
As I sit here writing this, the sky is dark the wind is blowing and I can
see snowflakes in the air. Yes, winter is upon us, but that doesn’t
have to be a bad thing! Get out this winter, come to class, meet
fellow quilters and you will form friendships that can last a lifetime.
These friendships and quilting will keep you warm! Don’t be afraid
to try a new technique this winter and by spring you will be a pro!
Happy Quilting,

On Another Note: This will be the last
newsletter we will mail due to ever changing postal
regulations. We have been told, starting in January we
will have to buy software to barcode customer addresses
and after our problems with the post office when we
mailed our last issue, we have decided to be on line only, as most other
shops have opted to do. The newsletter is posted on our website along
with a calendar of events and classes. You can print it or just review it
at your leisure. We will take names of customers who frequently take
classes and do not have a computer and we will have a few copies in
the shop for them. We are so sorry that we have been driven to do this
but times have changed and we all have to accept change.
If you are not receiving our emails, please update your email address
with us.

Yes we will continue our Saturday Sampler this
year. Lu has created a new sampler quilt in red
and whites. You pay $10 to join, and then you
will receive your first block pattern and fabric at
our first Sampler meeting in January. Bring your
completed block back the next month and you
will receive the next block and fabric free. Miss a meeting for any
reason, no problem, you just bring your last completed block the
following month, pay $5 for the block you missed but you will get
the current block free. Blocks can only be picked up on Saturday
Sampler day. We will continue to have demos of fun products and
you will be the first to see what's new and to hear of upcoming
events. As the year progresses you will learn new techniques and
improve your skills. Sign up at our December session or no later
than January 15th, so we can have your kit cut and ready for you.
