Mihaylo College of Business & Economics California State University, Fullerton Thursday, September 17, 2015 Irvine Marriott Hotel Irvine, CA ABOUT THE CONFERENCE The 14th Haskell & White Corporate Reporting & Governance conference is intended to provide opportunities to academics for engaging with experienced researchers and networking with the practice community. We especially encourage current and recently graduated PhDs to submit papers. Last year’s conference featured invited academic presentations by Professor Rashad Abdel-Khalik (UI at Urbana-Champaign), V.K. Zimmerman Professor in International Accounting; Terry Shevlin (UCI), Professor of Accounting, and other invited speakers. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & NOTICE OF DECISIONS The Center for Corporate Reporting & Governance (CCRG) is seeking papers for the upcoming conference. Papers are invited in the areas of accounting, finance, and economics (including, but not limited to, the topics of Auditing, Financial Accounting & Reporting, International Accounting, Corporate Governance, and Ethics). Submissions should be received by Monday, July 6 , 2015. All manuscripts are subject to a blind review process. Email notification of the outcome of each submission will be sent to the corresponding author or authors in August, 2015. Each paper submission should include a title page listing the corresponding author’s name and email address. All papers must be in Word or PDF format and emailed to: [email protected] CONFERENCE ARRANGEMENT Following the academic conference, the center will be hosting its 14th Annual SEC Financial Reporting Conference on September 18, 2015. This event is attended by over 500 professionals from the area. Academics are invited to both events at the Irvine Marriott in Irvine, California. The conference registration fees are $225 for academics and $400 for professionals. The fee covers reception on Thursday, September 17, continental breakfast, and lunch on Friday, September 18, 2015.
