SIZE: 20" from ear to ear
HEADBAND
With C, ch 20.
In 2nd ch from the hook, sc 18 across.
Ch 2, turn, sc 18 across.
Change to A.
Ch 2, turn, sc 18 across.
Ch 2, turn, sc 18 across.
Rep for 18 rows. Fasten off.
Sew sides together lengthwise to form
a tube.
Slide headband into tube and sew ends
shut.
EAR MUFFS (Make 2 of each circle)
Circle 1:
With B, ch 6; join with sl st.
2 sc in st around, sl st to join (12 sts).
(2 sc, sc) rep around (18 sts).
(2 sc, sc, sc) rep around (24 sts).
(2 sc, sc, sc, sc) rep around (30 sts).
(2 sc, sc, sc) rep to last 2 sts, 2 sc, sc in
last; join with sl st (40 sts).
Fasten off (for Circle 1 only).
Circle 2:
Follow directions for circle 1. Then (sc,
3 tr, sc) in every other st around.
Circle 3:
Follow instructions for circle 1. Then (2
sc, sc, sc, sc) rep around.
(Sc, 3 tr, sc) rep around; join with sl st
and fasten off.
HEART APPLIQUÉ
Crochet hook: F-5 (3.75 mm) or size
needed to obtain gauge
With C, ch 6, 3 tr in 2nd ch from hook, 3
DC in next, ch 1, tr, ch 1, 3 DC, 3 tr, sl st
to center to form heart shape.
ASSEMBLY
Sew heart appliqué to right side of
circle 1.
Sew circle 1 to circle 3.
Sandwich circle 3 and circle 2 on either
side of one end of the headband. (Place
circle 3 on the outside.) Using B, sew
them together and to the headband.
Rep for the other side.

SIZE: 11" long and 10" circumference
STRIPES
With B, ch 33, join with sl st, careful not to twist.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, dc around , join with sl st in top of ch 2.
Rnds 2-19: Join A with sl st, ch 2, dc around; join
with sl st in top of ch 2.
Alternate A and B every other row.
Bind off, and weave in ends.
CUPCAKE HOLDER
Using C, ch 13.
Row 1: Ch 1, sc across.
Rows 2-44: Ch 1, turn, sctbl across.
After completing 44 rows (or desired length), sew
short ends of ribbing together, creating a tube. Sl
st cupcake holder to bottom of leg warmer.

ICING RUFFLES
Rnd 1: Using A, join with sl st into top of ribbed st
(cupcake holder). Ch 3, work 44 dc into ribbed st
around.
Rnds 2-3: Ch 3, 1 dc into same st, 2 dc into each st
around; join with sl st at top of ch 3. Finish off and
weave in ends.
A Show of Hands

CUPCAKE HOLDER (BOTTOM)
Row 1: With C, ch 12, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (10).
Row 2: Ch 2, sctbl across.
Rep Row 2 for 25 rows. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing at the
end.
CUPCAKE ICING (TOP)
Row 1: With A, ch 29, in 2nd ch from hook sc across (27 sts). Ch 2.
Rows 2-6: Rep Row 1.
Row 7: (Sc, 3 tr, sc) in every other st.
Join bottom to top (Note: Ribbing should be vertical on bottom and
horizontal on top). Turn glove inside out and sew up the sides with
yarn needle and yarn, leaving room for thumb. Embellish top with
bugle beads.
CUPCAKE CHERRY
Using C, ch 6; join to form circle. 2 sc in each st around; join with sl st.
Bind off, leaving a long tail to sew to top with yarn needle.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 2 sctbl in first st, sctbl in the next
5 sts, 2 sctbl in last st (9).
Row 5: Ch 1, sctbl across (9). Fasten off.
APPLIQUÉ
Using C, ch 9, starting in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 7, ch 2.
Sc in the 1st st, sc 5, make increase in last st.
Join A in last st just made.
2 sc in first st, sc 7, 2 sc in last st, ch 2, turn.
2 sc in first st, sc 9, 2 sc in last st, ch 2, turn.
Sc across. Fasten off.
CUPCAKE APPLIQUÉ (TOP)
Row 1: Using A, join with sl st, sl st across the top of
cupcake appliqué (bottom). Note: Bottom ribbing
will be horizontal.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc across.
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, dc across.
Row 4: Rep Row 2.
Row 5: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog.
Row 6: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog.
Row 7: Turn, sc2tog, sc in next st, sc2tog. Fasten off;
sew on beads as desired to serve as sprinkles.
Change to B, ch 2, sc 30 across.
Change to A, ch 2, sc 30 across.
Rep for 22 rows, making 26 total rows.
With sides facing together, join sides of piece with needle
and yarn. Sew sides together, forming a tube.
Use embroidery thread to add beads as desired. Embellish
before attaching appliqué to legging. Attach to leg
warmer with needle and thread.
