What is Lunabrite™?
Lunabrite™ is a new, patent pending indoor/outdoor photo luminescent
light. Lunabrite™ uses light (either room or sunlight) to fully charge in only
5-30 minutes, and then emits light for 8+ hours. The brightest light is visible
in the first 3-4 hours and then diminishes slowly after that. Lunabrite™ can
glow as long as 12+ hours without a recharge. It is completely rechargeable.
Lunabrite™ is a flexible light tube technology with an attachable edge that
is beneficial in many applications. The 360° round design displays light with
high visibility.
How does it work?
Lunabrite™ works on the molecular level and absorbs light to charge (the
only known failure of Lunabrite™ is to receive no light). Lunabrite™ charges
through exposure to sun or lamp light. Lunabrite™ is constantly either
charging or emitting light.
How is Lunabrite™ different from other light alternatives?
Unlike LED or Electro Luminescence (EL), Lunabrite™ uses no batteries, bulbs
or wiring. Although not as bright as wired LED or lighting, benefits include
being lightweight, no heat output, completely maintenance free and can
safely be used around children, water and pets.
How is Lunabrite™ different from Retro Reflective
products?
Retro reflective and Lunabrite™ lights actually work in opposite ways of
each other. Retro reflective reflects light that bounces back from light shining
on it. Lunabrite™ emits light in darkness. That is why most Lunabrite™ pet
products by Sherpa Pet Group have both Lunabrite™ and retro reflective for
your pet’s maximum protection.
How is Lunabrite™ different from “Glow in the Dark”
children’s toys or Exit signs?
Lunabrite™ is flexible, conformable with 360° radiance. It operates differently
than traditional products and is based on a patent pending formula. The glow
is 50% brighter and lasts approximately 10X longer than other products.
How far away is Lunabrite™ visible?
Lunabrite™ can be seen at approximately 30 to up to 100 yards away
depending upon conditions and size used.
Has Lunabrite™ been tested in extreme weather conditions?
Lunabrite™ is stable and performs well at temperatures from cold to warm;
–30° to +150° Fahrenheit.
Can Lunabrite™ be washed?
Lunabrite™ can be washed in a standard washing machine. It will not have any
effect upon light performance. Lunabrite™ has been put, through dryer tests
with no loss in performance. However, most washing machine manufacturers
do not recommend putting any plastic-type product in a dryer.
What type of light works best to charge Lunabrite™?
Either indoor or outdoor light works fine as long as Lunabrite™ is exposed
to it for at least 5 minutes. 30 minutes of exposure provides the maximum
glow. To “super charge”, place Lunabrite™ directly near a very bright light
for a couple of minutes. It will charge very quickly and glow immediately
when placed in darkness.
I flipped my lights on and off (or I went outside after being in
a brightly lit house) and it took me a few seconds until I was
able to see Lunabrite™. Why is that?
It takes the human eye a few seconds to adjust to darkness. This is similar to
the effect of walking into a darkened movie theater. If you flip lights on and
off, your eyes will take a moment to adjust to both dark and light.
How many years will Lunabrite™ last?
Lunabrite™ lasts for many years (up to 20 years in our tests). It is likely that
you would replace the product (collar, lead, etc) before you would need to
replace Lunabrite™.
What does Patent Pending mean for Lunabrite™?
Lunabrite™ holds Patent Pending status with the US Patent Office. That
means that Lunabrite technology is protected by law through the time a final
Patent is issued.
Is Lunabrite™ radioactive?
No, it is not.
Will I see Lunabrite™ in other pet products?
Only pet products sold by Sherpa Pet Group. SPG has the exclusive right
to use Lunabrite™ in its pet products. Lunabrite™ is or will be used in
sneakers, tents and camping gear, safety vest, medical kits, backpacks and
other products. Due to its renewable, earth-friendly nature, Lunabrite™ was
recently selected for use along the front pathway by the first ever LEEDS
Platinum-Certified home remodel project in Minnesota.

What if my pet accidentally chews or eats Lunabrite™?
Lunabrite™ is weather and UV resistant, non-toxic, anti-microbial and can
be safely used around children, water and pets. Lunabrite™ is encased in an
optically clear round tubing. We do not recommend that pets eat it; it will not
harm them if accidentally ingested.

shipping address and billing information. When you are ready to place an order we will be happy to assist
you with product selection, merchandising and any other needs you may have. Order from all your favorite

Sherpa Pet Group sells directly to legally registered businesses within the United States and internationally. In order to purchase products at
wholesale prices, each business must be prepared to present the following: a Federal employer identification number (E.I.N.) and/or a re-seller’s
license (issued by state or country). Individual consumers are strictly prohibited from purchasing Sherpa Pet Group products at wholesale prices.
Backorder Policy
Sherpa Pet Group will automatically ship all out of stock merchandise once it becomes available. Customers are responsible for canceling outstanding
items if they wish to avoid having these items shipped automatically. Shipping charges are applied once the backordered items ship.
Payment
All first orders are shipped on prepaid terms. Sherpa Pet Group accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Customers may continue on prepaid
terms or apply for Net 30 terms by submitting the credit application available for download at our website. Applications are usually processed within
2 to 3 weeks.
Delivery & Shipping
Sherpa Pet Group typically ships within 2 business days after receiving an order. Domestic orders are shipped via insured UPS Ground Service.
We can accommodate expedited shipping needs with UPS 2day, 3day or overnight services. Orders are shipped from our Rockaway, NJ location.
International orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) Global Express Service. Orders over $500 in the continental US receive FREE
SHIPPING! Orders requiring more than one shipment may incur additional shipping charges.
Drop Ship Policy
Sherpa Pet Group does not currently offer universal drop shipping but does offer a limited program.
Current Requirements for SPG’s Limited Drop Shipping Program
Terms and Conditions:
• Program is open to e-commerce entities only.
• Customer must submit all orders and receive all order confirmation via EDI or DirectSPG.com.
• Customer must have a valid credit card on file to cover all orders.
• Only SPG products authorized for the drop ship program may be offered and the list of authorized products is subject to change. SPG will make
the list available electronically 24/7 and will notify Drop Ship Program customers of changes via email.
• Customer must provide its consumers with the full scope of customer service.
• Customer is responsible for handling all returns and warranty issues related to its orders.
• Customer agrees to handle all returns and warranty issues within SPG’s standard polices.
• Customer projects annual business with SPG of at least $10,000.00
Return Policy
Sherpa Pet Group guarantees that our products are free from manufacturer damage and defect. We accept returns for damaged or defective
merchandise, and for items sent in error ONLY. We will replace or give a full merchandise credit for damaged or defective items.
