Rock the summer 2015
A unique musical experience awaits every aspiring ROCKER
this summer at ROCK the summer 2015!
These hands-on classes include instruction for acoustic/
electric/bass guitar and drum/percussion performance techniques
with daily jams that ROCK!
Daily sessions include techniques for proper tuning, chord
sets needed for songs/jams, various strumming/accompaniment
styles, study of specific song forms, melodic and improvisational
studies, exploration of CAPO for acoustic guitar, using stompboxes
and effects for electric guitar, participation in songs and jams in the
style of classic ROCK stars all on the main stage at the CAC!
Each student participant will need to bring his/her own instrument. Rentals are available through the Texas Tour Gear, who will
be on hand and ready to assist. Students will be encouraged on
their favorite instrument, AND will experiment with various "new" instruments - especially rhythm instruments - as we jam.
Camp fee for each participant is $100. ROCK the summer music folio, daily snack, T-shirt, and
souvenir DVD are all included in the fee.
