CALEB INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Thursday, 26th March, 2015. Dear Parents/Guidance, We give God the glory for seeing us through the end of the second term of 2014/2015 academic session. Below are some of the programs that took place during the term. CGS Parenting Workshop On Saturday, 21st March, 2015, the first of the parenting series was held at Dola Hall, Caleb International College. Dr. Oludolapo Ogunbawo, the Executive Director of Caleb Group of Schools delivered a paper on ‘Understanding Developmental Stages: What Parents Must Do To Maximize Potentials’. The workshop was thrown open to all parents and lots of parents were in attendance. We encourage our parents to seize this opportunity to attend subsequent workshops. You might choose to attend a class simply to have your questions answered, brush up on key skills like basic parenting techniques or you might have a specific problem or issue, such as a child who is having behavioural issues. Unlike your latest electronics gadget, your child doesn't come with a how-to manual. Just like every child is different, every family has different needs. These types of workshop can benefit parents in how they understand and interact with their children on a daily basis, as well as helping them focus on positive -- and age-appropriate -- practices. Subsequent parenting workshops will be communicated to parents.
