Tumbling Star Rack
This pattern is presented in two pieces due to space imitations. Cut out and tape
these peices together at thte Match Lines before using.
CUTTING: Cut Backer Board from 1/4" thick wood. Cut Stars from 1/2" thick wood.
Cover an appropriate size area of wood with Transfer Paper (#CARB). Lay the
pattern over the transfer paper and transfer each pieces cut lines onto the
appropriate thickness of wood by simply tracing with a pen, pencil or stylus (#STY).
Sand top edges of each Star as desired and remaining pieces to desired
smoothness. Drill holes as noted.
PAINTING: Use Delta brand (or equal quality) acrylic craft paint to paint the
different areas as noted or colors of your choice. OPTION: For an aged look, lightly
sand all painted surfaces.
ASSEMBLY: (See ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM.) Locate and glue Stars to locations
shown on Backer Board. Attach Sawtooth Hangers (#SAWH) to locations shown on
Backer Board. Glue and insert Shaker Pegs (#PEG175) into holes drilled in Stars as
shown.
FINISHING: For maximum protection coat your project with at least two coats of our
durable project sealer (#POLYQT). Hang on wall in desired location.
