Dr. Noel J. Aymat-­‐Santana Chancellor, University of PR Medical School Dr. Noel J. Aymat Santana received his Dental Medicine Doctor and Law degree
from the University of Puerto Rico. In New York he completed two programs
simultaneously: Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia Presbyterian Medical
Center and Healthcare Management at NYU. He has been as Peer Reviewer for a
insurance company (until 1999). Dr. Aymat has been president of the Puerto Rico
Dental Association (Colegio) and other organizations. Dr. Aymat is the Chancellor of
the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. As part of his
Chancellor duties he sits at the Governing Board of several public hospitals.
