Job Title:
Treasury Manager (1 Year Maternity Leave Coverage)
Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Treasurer, or designate, the Treasury Manager will be responsible for operational
cash and treasury management, working capital forecasting, treasury reporting, managing the banking platform
and overseeing the accounts payable function for the Minto and Kutcho projects.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):










Forecast daily cash requirements and optimize cash position while managing the weekly liquidity needs of
each operation.
Understand and manage all aspects of cash flow including development and maintenance of a
consolidated cash flow forecast model.
Evaluate foreign currency requirements and execute FX trades.
Actively contribute to corporate banking relationships.
Accurately maintain administration of all bank accounts, including updating signatories and opening and
closing of bank accounts.
Produce month and quarter end treasury reports to senior management and Board of Directors.
Oversee the Accounts Payable function for two projects including managing a team of direct reports and
providing information to onsite staff.
Manage the Kutcho GL to final trial balance and assist with quarterly audit procedures.
Manage the GST/HST returns and reporting for two locations.
Provide accounting support to other accounting groups in the Company including fielding
problems/question and pro-actively providing support to provide solutions.

5-7 years of related work experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in treasury/cash
management or banking.
Post-secondary degree in Commerce/Business.
Designated CGA, CMA, CA or CFA (or in final year).

Treasury and capital management experience.
Previous Sage (ACCPAC) experience.
Mining Industry experience.
Experience working with online global banking platforms.
