A Note from Pam
Hello Castle Gardens residents, family and friends;
Spring is finally here! I look forward to seeing the first Robin, spring flowers and
green grass. Plus, I definitely look forward to warmer weather.
A few spring items:
Spring lawn cleaning and landscaping will begin this month.
Please make sure you are using the South side of the building by the shed for
walking your dog. Always clean up after your pet.
Please don’t feed the birds by tossing bread, crackers or other types of food on the
ground or leaving on your balcony. If you enjoy watching the birds and
would like to feed them use or purchase a bird feeder.
I hope you all like the new server station in the main dining room; it’s
much more functional and it looks beautiful too. Your patience during
the renovation was much appreciated.
Have a great month!
Pamela Stento

Measuring Up At Easter Time and Always
Until we all reach unity in the faith
and in the knowledge of the Son of God
and become mature, attaining to the
whole measure of the fullness of
Christ. Ephesians 4:13
You must be 44 inches tall to ride
Space Mountain at Disney World in Orlando. You must be 54 inches tall to buy
a ticket for BATMAN: The Ride at Six
Flags Atlanta. For safety reasons, most
amusement parks set rules like
these. Ticket holders who don't measure
up can't ride. It's a great day in the life of
a thrill-seeking child when she finally
measures up, when she can finally sit
down, buckle in, and soar through the
sky.
Do you ever wonder how you measure
up in the eyes of other people? This has
nothing to do with physical height, and
everything to do with sometimes hurtful
comparisons and judgments. Such concerns can nag at us, can drag us down-quickly.
An even more important question
is: "Do I measure up in God's eyes?"
Many believe God "grades on the curve,"
CASTLE
GARDEN
MONTHLY
but heaven's "height requirement" is
"the whole measure of the fullness of
Christ." If that gives you pause, remember; because of what Jesus did
for you in his cross and resurrection,
you measure up fully. Right now,
you are loved beyond measure. You
need fear neither death nor judgment.
As the Holy Spirit works in you, you
are continuing to grow up spiritually. You are a work in progress-God's work! You can look forward to
all that the Holy Spirit will finish in
you.
In light of this, it matters little what
others think. Our Heavenly Father's
committed love for you is beyond
question. And one day, you will
reach full maturity. You will be at
last all that God intended from the
first.
Dear Lord, Thank you for what
your Son did for us in His cross and
resurrection; that we may be fully
loved and be filled with all the fullness of God. Thank you that "He is
Risen Indeed!" Amen.

Keepsake Village Update
Finally Spring is really here!
We thought winter would never
end. Hopefully soon we will be
spending some time out in the
courtyard enjoying the sunshine
and fresh air.
The girl scouts from Troop #
30026 had their last visit in March.
They hosted a lovely tea party
with sandwiches, fruit, cookies,
and punch. All things they made
and organized. The past visits with
the girls were part of a project they
called Operation Happiness. It was
a project that earned them the
Bronze Award of the Take Action
Project. They will be receiving the
award at the Young Woman of
Distinction Event this month. On
behalf of Castle Gardens the activity department mailed out certificates of recognition to all 15 girls
commending them for the efforts
and thanking them for including us

Spring is here and everyone enjoys watching the birds but
please do not throw bread or
food out for the birds. It attracts
rodents and undesirable critters.
Please use bird feeders and be
courteous if there is a balcony
below yours to not drop food or
dirt onto their balcony.
The Sunshine Olympic Games
will be starting soon. We will
begin with Spelling and Checkers in April. Please let someone
in activities know if you are in-
