Kittens are available for viewing in foster home and pre-adoption after they are 6 weeks of age.
There are no guarantees that the kitten will be ready to go home at 9 weeks of age. They need
to be at least 8 weeks, healthy, and 2 lbs. to be spayed or neutered before they go home.

RW – Ringworm, a fungal infection treated with medication
URI – Upper Respiratory Infection, otherwise known as a “cold”, treated with medication
PF – Kitten’s picture and bio are on Petfinder.com or Adopt-a-Pet.com (Enter zip code 97140 and under age, enter baby). (For the mom’s age, enter young or adult).
RX – On medication – Kittens under medical treatment are not available for viewing
ADOPTION PROCESS& POLICY
Policy: CAT adopts to indoor only homes. You must meet a kitten before you can go through the adoption counseling process. Cats or kittens under medical
treatment are not eligible to be seen by the public until they are through with their medication and are no longer showing signs of illness. For more information, and a
complete list of CAT’s adoption policies please visit catadoptionteam.org/adopt.
Once you have met and decided on a kitten(s) and/or momma, you must complete the adoption paperwork with an adoption counselor and pre-pay the full amount
same day unless the shelter is closed. If the shelter is closed then you must complete the adoption process at opening of the next business day. This pre-adopts the
kitten(s) for you. Once the kittens are a healthy 8 weeks of age and at least 2 pounds, they will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated. You will be contacted by the
foster parent when this appointment date is set. On the day of surgery, you will need to pick up your kitten(s) from the shelter between 4 pm- 6:30 pm unless
otherwise arranged.

One kitten and momma $ 190
One teenager (7 mos. – 11 mos.) $100
