 After school detention is in room 67 today from 3:05 to 4:00.
 The next SATURDAY SCHOOL is, May 2nd in the MPR from 8 to12. First come first
served, school ID is required. Students must bring a book or something to work on.
Athletic Early Dismissals :
Students, please be reminded that helium balloon bouquets are not allowed on campus in classrooms. If you
choose to bring them, you will have to leave them in the principal’s office until after school
Panorama pictures can be picked up in the Athletics Office during nutrition and lunch.
Graduating Seniors! Order your Cap & Gowns on Friday at lunch at the Peace Garden. Price is $40 for the set.

Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship Program - $1000 scholarship that will be awarded to
students that are interest in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.
Interested students can visit www.fashion-schools.org/ and find scholarship located at the bottom of the
page and click on it. Deadline: June 1, 2015.
Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship Program - For high school seniors to win a $1000

 Hana Uno Shepard Memorial Scholarship – Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from
a single-parent family of Japanese descent. Application available at the College Career Center. Deadline:
May 1, 2015.
  2015 Student-View Scholarship Program – For high school seniors who plan to attend a fouryear college, community/junior college or career school. Log on to www.student-view.com and complete a
15-20 minutes application survey about colleges in your area. The scholarship will be awarded via random
drawing of all completed applications. Deadline: April 22, 2015.
 Don & Roy Splawn Charitable Foundation, West Spring 2015 Scholarship – For graduating high
school senior with financial need, has a minimum 2.6 GPA and has participated in Community Service
and extracurricular activities. Encouraging students who may not have the chance to attend college without
financial assistance and understand and exemplify the meaning of “hard work”. Visit
www.fsrequests.com/splawnscholarship . Deadline: Wednesday, April 15 by 11:59 p.m.
 Lifestyle Dentistry Scholarship – For high school senior attending college or university no later than
September 30, 2015. Can be enrolled in any field of study. Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater. Submit
answers to the essay question, which can be found on the application page. Deadline: June 30, 2015.

 JVS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – A need-based program providing scholarships for college
bound Jewish students who are permanent resident. The online application period will be closing on
March 15, 2015. For more information, visit www.jvsla.org.
 Tony Steinhart Cadet Scholarship (Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary Club) – Must be a high school
senior. Maintained minimum of 2.5 GPA and college bound. Must have been active in LAPD-Pacific
Division Cadet program for no less than 2-year. For application, see Ms. Fujisawa in the College Career


I'm First! Scholarship is open to all graduating high schools seniors who will be the first in their family to
