President’s Corner:
Thank you to the numerous volunteers who made thish year’s ‘Fish Frys’ so successful. These volunteers gave up their Fridays to benefit the club. Special thanks to
Joe Host and Mike Sanchez.
The club will be open Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, from noon until 8:00
p.m. Last call at 7:30 p.m.
Thanks to Tim Forrester and his workers for a busy ‘Burger Nite’. “Great burgers”
were served.
The Detroit Tigers versus the Seattle Mariners bus trip will be Thursday, July 23rd
at 1:00 p.m. Bring your friends, and cheer on the Tigers. Sign-up at the bar. The cost is
$95 per person.
The club is in need of a pinchaser for the bowling season starting in September.
This would be “great for a college student”. See a board member or Rocky Swan.
Thanks to Mike and Deb Hammond, Al and Kim McFarland, and their crew for
the successful Charlie Rockit nights.
Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of John Hohs who passed away
last month.
Support your club and our troops,
Ted Kowalewski – Thumbs Up
Auxiliary News
Thanks to all the ladies who came to the meeting. It is always nice to see familiar
faces that may not have been there in awhile.
We will be holding our elections at the May meeting, so please plan on attending.
We are getting ready for our June banquet. Tickets are $7.00 and available
through May 22, 2015. Please contact Darla Scheuller or Janice Turnquist for your
tickets. The theme this year is 50’s and 60’s. Please feel free to dress up if you would
like.
We are always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining the auxiliary, please come to our meeting which is always the first Tuesday of the month. We
do not meet in July or August. I hope to see new faces. Come down and join the fun.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Marie Harrison who pasted away.
She is also the mother of Deb Hammond. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire
family.
Respectfully,
Janice Turnquist, President

Can you solve this riddle?
A man worked at a high security institution. The man tried to log into his computer and the
computer denied the password. He then remembered that the passwords to the computers were reset
every month for security reasons. He called his boss for his new password.
The man said, “Boss, my old password is out of date.”
The boss said, “Yes, it is. The new password is different, but if you listen closely you will be
able to figure out the new one. Your new password has the same amount of letters as the old one,
and four of the letters are the same.”
The man then logged into his computer with no trouble. What was the new password? What
was his old?
The man’s old password was “out of date”. His new password was “different”.
