KSNF/KODE – ATLAS SAFE ROOM
WEATHER TOUR GIVEAWAY
1.
ELIGIBILITY:
No purchase necessary to enter. The Weather Tour/ Atlas Safe Room Giveaway (the “Contest”) is
open to U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older, except employees of KSN, KODE,
Fourstateshomepage.com, Nexstar Broadcasting, Mission Broadcasting, Atlas Safe Rooms
(collectively, the “Sponsors”), other television and radio stations in the Joplin/Pittsburg market, and
their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies (if any), members of their respective
families or persons living in the same household.
2. ENTRY:
(a) The Contest will begin on May 7th, 2015 at 3:30pm and end on June 25th, 2015 at 6:00pm.
(b) To participate in the Contest, each contestant must attend one of eight Severe Weather Tour
Stops and fill out an official entry form. Each contestant may enter only once at each Weather
Tour location. The Weather Tour will begin Thursday, May 7th and run for eight consecutive
Thursday ending on Thursday June 25th. The locations of Severe Weather Tour stops will be
available at www.fourstateshomepage.com or by phone at 417-781-2345 Monday-Friday 8am
to 5pm. A list of locations will be available at KSNF-TV, 1502 Cleveland Street, Joplin, MO
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
(c) Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Sponsors reserve the right
to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or violates the Official
Rules of the Contest.
(d) Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries.
3. PRIZES:
One (1) Grand Prize of a 4X4, EF-5 Rated Atlas Safe Room with a retail value $4495. All sales tax will
be paid by Atlas Safe rooms. Eight (8) second prizes of a Play-And-Stay from Indigo Sky Casino. PlayAnd-Stay includes one nights lodging, $50 food voucher and $20 per person free play. The retail
value of one Play-And-Stay is $250.00 and some restrictions apply, see the Stay & Play Package
Certificate for details. Sixteen (16) third prizes of a Midland Weather Radios with a retail value of
$40.00. The grand prize will be given away on June 28th during the KODE 6pm News. One (1)
second prize and two (2) third prizes will be awarded at each of the eight Weather Tour locations.
The grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries from all eight
Weather Tour locations (See Addendum A). The second and third prize winners will be selected by
random drawing from all eligible entrees from each of the eight Weather Tour locations. Only
entries from that days location will be eligible for the weekly prizes, entries will not be carried over
to the next week. Each weekly drawer will be conduct the Friday following that week’s Weather
Tour stop. Winners will be notified by phone the Friday after that week’s event. All prizes must be
claimed within 60 days of the close of the contest (Contest closes June 25th). Arrangements for the
installation of the Atlas Safe Room will be made directly with Atlas Safe Rooms. The second and
third prizes will be available for pick-up, Monday-Friday from 8am – 5pm at the business offices of
KSNF/KODE, 1502 S. Cleveland Ave., Joplin, MO. You must live in the Joplin, MO-Pittsburg, KS
viewing area to be eligible to win any of the Weather Tour Prizes. The eligible counties are listed in
Addendum B of the official rules.
4. GENERAL:
(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner and winners
may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.
(b) By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners (or, in the case of a minor, their
parent/legal guardian) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or
broadcasting material relating to this Contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of
eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. If a prize winner is a minor,
prize may be awarded to the minor's parent or legal guardian and that winner’s travel
companion must be his/her parent or legal guardian. Unless a member of winner’s immediate
family, travel companion must be 18 years of age or older. Travel companion must travel with
winner and must also sign and return a travel release, which must be returned with winner’s
affidavit of eligibility. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Sponsors the right to use the
winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any
and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional
compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are
the sole responsibility of winner. Winner and travel companion, if any, by acceptance of their
prizes, agree to release Station, [Licensee Name], and their advertising, promotion and
production agencies and their respective parents and subsidiaries, shareholders, directors,
employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind
whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained
directly or indirectly in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while
preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any Contest or prize-related activity.
(c) Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become
effective upon announcement. Sponsors are not responsible for errors in the rules, their
announcements, or the offering or the administration of the Contest.
(d) No prize transfers. Sponsors may substitute prizes for prizes of like value, in the Sponsors’ sole
discretion. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Offer subject to federal, state
and local regulations and laws and is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited. By entering,
participants agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors/Judges.
4. RULES:
