Workshop in Tbilisi, March 31- April 1, 2015 Venue: GFSIS, 3a Chitadze str., Tbilisi 0108, Georgia The main aim of the workshop is to strengthen capabilities of Georgian, Armenian and Azeri experts in crucial field of democratic transition: security sector reform. The workshop is tailor-made for both government and non-government representatives. It will strengthen their position and enable to cooperate with other government bodies in transition and reform related issues. Besides that participants will benefit from contacts and networks built in region as well as with Visegrad experts. The workshop will be also a kick out meeting for the participants of E-learning program, which will start after the workshop. Workshop will cover lectures, which focuses on problematic issues covered also by the E-learning program. The E-learning program includes video lectures as well as written materials from the best experts of V4 in specific issues. Participants will also receive first hand information and recommendations relevant for their expertise. The E-learning program has 13 modules, each module is prepared for 1 week-long education. After each module, participants will be able to check their knowledge, which learned in the module. After successful graduation, participants will receive certificates about the participation in the E-learning program. After the completion of the E-learning program, participants will gain deep understanding of numerous specific issues in the field of security studies with the emphasis on the Security Sector Reform. Participants will have a chance to discuss issues, which are not covered in the E-learning program directly with lecturers.
