TMIY
Attention Husbands and Fathers!
We are pleased to announce that this Fall we will begin an exciting
new men’s leadership and formation program called “That Man
Is You!” (TMIY). Our own Bishop Robert Guglielmone highly
recommends it: “TMIY is one of the best men’s ministries
available in the Church today…Independent research by a faith
advisor to The Gallup Poll revealed TMIY to be one of the most
life-transforming programs ever studied.”
TMIY “…is engaging to men because it harmonizes the teachings
of our Catholic faith with the social and medical sciences…As
a result of attending the program, the transformation in men is
most profoundly seen in:
*an increased commitment to their mission as husbands, fathers,
and grandfathers…
*a kindled desire to live and share the Gospel in their daily life…
*a deeper commitment to a life of prayer and service…
*greater participation in parish life…
*engagement in healing from pornography and other
addictions…”
To make this program work in our parish, what we need right
now are leaders who would be willing to attend an informational
meeting in May. Will you be one of those men? As Bishop
Guglielmone puts it:
“In order to build up our families, we must have men lead by
example and awaken to their responsibility to truly live out their
faith, with Jesus Christ at the center of their lives.”
That man is you! Contact Dan Lord at [email protected]
or call 724-8395 ext. 233 if you are interested!
Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Cheryle
Freiberger and her children on the death
of Cheryle’s mother, Mrs. Mildred Nancee
Gorden. Mrs. Gorden died on March 30,
2015. Mrs. Gorden was buried in Union
Cemetery, Sayville, Long Island, NY.
Please keep this family in your prayers.
