Landscaping of the Entrance Esplanade, Cimarron Country
You are invited to submit a bid for the following Landscaping maintenance for one year, automatically renewable on a
year to year basis, unless either party gives 30 day notice. All work performed under the contract shall be paid on a
monthly basis. If you are interested in bidding on this work, please contact the following person to indicate your interest
and arrange to view the location and area to be maintained.

Please be aware that this is a competitive bid process. Evaluation will take a number of criteria into account to
determine the successful bid.
The following will be the deadline schedule for bidding and awarding the contract.

The following scope of work is to be performed on the common property located between the
two lanes of Cimarron Way from Sendera Drive to Deer Lodge Road in Montgomery County,
Texas referenced below as Esplanade. This work shall be done on a weekly basis.
1. Mow and trim the grass on the Esplanade including the edge of the grass at the road
such that the grass is maintained at no longer than 3” High.
2. Pick up all trash and deadfall limbs and remove for disposal from the esplanade.
3. Trim and/or prune all landscaping, trees, and shrubs in accordance with accepted
professional landscaping practices so that the area is kept in an acceptable, attractive,
condition and the entrance sign remains clearly visible to the public view.
4. Supply and plant seasonal flowers in the existing Flower beds so as to maintain a
colorful appearance at all times.
5. Replace any Shrubs or flowers that become diseased or die during the term of the
contract.
6. Keep landscaping and flower beds free of weeds.
7. Fertilize the esplanade, trees, shrubs and flowerbeds as per acceptable landscaping
practices.
8. Re-mulch flowerbeds as necessary in order to maintain a well groomed appearance.
9. Operate and maintain the existing automatic sprinkler irrigation system, setting
appropriate times and durations to water the Trees, Shrubs, and flowers.
10. Winterize the existing automatic sprinkler irrigation system to prevent the system from
being damaged by freezing temperatures.
11. Remove leaves as necessary.
12. Perform additional work needed to insure the Esplanade and the entrance sign area are
maintained in an attractive, colorful and manicured appearance.
Contractor shall be responsible for providing all supplies and labor to perform the work and any
repairs in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, in keeping with generally accepted
landscaping practices.
