of real estate, mortgage, asset recovery, and customer relationship management services. It operates in
three segments: mortgage services, financial services and technology services. Rick’s team's mission of 6
directors and 85 staff is to "manage IT as a business" by managing services in the following functional
areas:
o Financial management, strategy, IT asset management, compliance, regulatory, and risk
management, project/program standards and governance, process management, performance
management, mergers & acquisition integration

Vice President: IT Strategy, Governance, Office of the CIO, Essilor of America– Create a businessdriven environment within IT. Lead IT senior leadership in crafting and delivering IT strategy and roadmap.
Inform business strategy and align IT strategy. Capital planning, roadmap, process management, risk
management, portfolio/program management office (PMO). Four directors. Annual capital project budget:
$22M
o Created Enterprise IT Governance, Developed IT strategic plan and business architecture,
Developed IT roadmap, Implemented IT PMO & project management system including time

Managed all IT functions. Technologies included Web/ERP/mainframe, associated databases, vendors and
hardware. ERP highlights: Asset management, accounts payable ($9B annually), general ledger, time &
expense, projects, inventory, purchasing, human resources, and payroll ($6B annually), tax preparation,
sales tax, legal, security, procurement, and other corporate systems. Six managers and professional staff of
100 plus project contractor augmentation; annual operating budget: $30 million.
