Introduction of CKC
Canada-Korea
Conference on Science and
Technology (CKC) is an annual international
conference jointly organized by the Association of
Korean Canadian Scientist and Engineers (AKCSE)
and the Korean Federation of Science and
Technology Societies (KOFST).
CKC 2015 is the fifth event of its kind, and every
single CKC has been better than all of its
predecessors. The first part is the Young
Generation (YG) Conference, which expects over
100 young members from almost 30 universities
in Canada and Korea. The second part is
“Research Day”. This program is being introduced
this year and is meant to be a market place for
collaboration. The program will consist of 12
sessions with 50 speakers. The third part is the
traditional technical sessions. We are expecting
around 10 collaboration sessions. The majority of
the sessions are custom made to serve specific
needs of sponsoring organizations.
