Teacher Appreciation Week
From The Principal...
It is difficult to believe we are at the end of another
school year. I hope it has been a year of growth and
wellness for your child as well as a memorable time in
their life.
May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation
Week. We join with other schools
across the nation in recognizing
the commitment teachers make to
helping students succeed and develop into outstanding citizens.
Our PTO has planned a duty free
lunch for our teachers on Friday,
the 8th of May.
Thank you, teachers!
Volunteer of the Year!
Our newsletter for this month is focused on the many
events that take place during May. We welcome you to
join us for field days and end of year awards programs/graduations.
You will find that we have added 3 days to the calendar
for June. These are still undecided snow make-up days
and we are awaiting legislative action regarding whether
they will be excused or made up. A note will go home
and information will be posted on Facebook and our
webpage once we have confirmation.
Best wishes to your family for a wonderful, relaxing
summer!

We are pleased to announce that Mrs.

Windy Hodge has been named principal for
the year. Mrs. Nichols

classroom several days
per week. She also is a teacher in our
Good News program that meets on Fridays. Thank you so much Mrs. Nichols!
Clifdale for the coming school year. She
assumes her position as school leader on
July 1st with the retirement of Mrs. Scott
who has served as school principal for 8
years. Mrs. Hodge is currently the assistant
principal at Boiling Springs Intermediate
School. She has a strong background in
math and science as well as school leadership. We have already learned that Mrs. Hodge has many connections to our school through family & community events.
