• Use: Hundreds of small deep gold flowers blooming for almost three
months! A naturalizing self seeder. Georgia Gold Medal Winner in
1996. Three-lobed Coneflower is very drought, heat- and pesttolerant. Prized by butterfly and hummingbird gardeners. Looks great
with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens
• Exposure/Soil: Prefers full–part sun It's fairly drought tolerant and
needs little water once established.
• Growth: Grows has a plant height of 3-4’ tall and a spread of 1 -2’
• Hardiness: 5-10 Perennial. Reseeding biennial. Very heat and
drought tolerant!
• Foliage: Deciduous. The alternate leaves are up to 4" long and 2"
across. They are broadly ovate or lanceolate, slightly to coarsely serrated, and have a rough texture. Some of the lower leaves are divided
into three lobes.
• Flower: Yellow daisies bloom from May-October. Remove spent flowers to prolong the blooming season.
